I've just been using the default samurai equipment for the entire game.

it would be nice. but the lack of nice armors early is just so trash. every time i make a new character i end up wearing the same shit and its boring. and then i get to the cool ones just to wear the same thing regardless of build.

The difference is the surcoat it gets. See the pelt and skirt? That's the Banished set unaltered. The altered version it's just the plate with a codpiece. Banished set would look better if it didn't have an open back.

being that its a Bloodborn set I wonder if it will make it in. There's also shitloads of 'dream' related cut content Im assuming will be the focus of at least one release

Armour damage reduction is %-based instead of flat, now.

because miyazaki knows now that everyone wants to change their fashion souls every 20 minutes so why bother making it upgradable

I fucking hate the fashion in this game, half the knight helmets are ugly pinheads, the other half get deformed or parts (hair) removed with most cool armor. I hate it.
