not a real sale fuck off

>people getting memed into playing atelier
oof

I'm boggled by the number of Atelier games
I just want a cute relaxing game with sexy girls and no pressure that preferably runs on the steam deck.

Where do I begin?

Don't play Atelier or you're will do not ever get laid IRL.

Power of friendship ass mofuckin' bubbly happy alchemy OMG ^_^

Does anyone know when the next actual sale will be? Late June?

This reads like a 2007 gamefaqs post

The best Gust games aren't even on modern platforms.
Ciel No Surge
Mana Khemia
Ar Tonelico 2
Fuck you I enjoyed Atelier Iris 3.

either sophie or ryza

What fucking atelier game am I supposed to start with?
I already played Ryza, didn't like the combat, but the others seem turn based though there's so many of them and so many different opinions between them too

>Mana Khemia
PSP or PS2?

Not sure if worth it

Attached: Screenshot 2022-05-01 003513.png (612x77, 23.66K)

>lots of shit
Yeah all of these games are utter shit and not worth buying or even pirating

the games i wanted didn't go under sale, i only bought Red Faction. is Guerilla worth it?

I played Tales of Arise demo on hard and the boss took me every life potion and all healing pots and I barely scraped by. I can't comprehend anything happening theres million attacks at once and I die in 3 hits. Is the game really that hard or am I just bad

PS2. PSP version has slowdowns and prone to freezing. No issues on PS2 emulators.

Are the Atelier arland games better than Sophie?
They look soulful

Hard difficulty on tales games is generally balanced for you to spend a billion consumables per fight, though in Arise you *can* manage by, the problem is that the Arise combat is just fucked by default, it's a roll spam ADHD shitfest.

is the witcher 2 good

I really like the timelimits but a lot of people seem to hate them

witcher 1 + 2 debatably better than 3

Attached: pissshit.jpg (344x385, 25.09K)

Hard is unbalanced and Arise has really shit combat against bosses.

I just want sexy girls that will make me feel better about being lonely

Someone sell me on 428

I was told Nights of Azure is not a good game and it seems the general consensus agrees with that so I will cut it.
I guess Atelier Arland trilogy will be it for me. Once again the only Ateliers I played is Ryza 1 and 2 but I 100%ed them so I'm gonna check out the others. I am aware of the time limits and different gameplay. Wish Koei didn't think their shit was worth a premium

THANK GOD is a koei tecmo sale and is not listed as golden week sale, i don't want westoids celebrating japanese holidays

Good call on NoA, it's a nightmare to get the gamepad set up for it.

happy golden week, weeb faggot

Nioh 2: based or cringe? is it toaster friendly?

Happy golden week you stupid cunt

What's the best Monster Hunter-like games?

The time limit is hardly an issue in those games tbqh. They are fairly easy overall.

Dusk trilogy seems beginner friendly but any of them are good to jump in.
>that preferably runs on the steam deck.
It's funny you say that because somebody at valve literally went out of their way to make sure all the Atelier games run well on it.

Based on cringe
Holy shit no, it's not toaster friendly at all

Should I get Ryza or Sophie?
Do you need to play the first games or can you just jump into the 2nd ones

cringe
The ones with Monster Hunter in the title. GE, Dauntless, Toukiden, etc are all shit.

Can I play Escha & Logy without having played the first one?

>Do you need to play the first games or can you just jump into the 2nd ones
A lot of the times, you can just jump in wherever. At most, you miss little cameos from previous games and then the game explains who that character was

ryza 2 you absolutely need to play ryza 1. Sophie 2 has a recap movie and only 2 returning characters so you might be okay skipping sophie 1. firis and lydie & suelle, the other games in the mysterious series, should be played in order as well

Last musou game I played was warriors orochi ages ago, qrd on what are the best ones avaible?

DW8XL.
The One Piece ones are also good if you like the series.

I wonder if we're gonna get ar and ciel nosurge DX in the west.

which one has the most varied playstyles between characters?

7 is the cheapest and has the most content.

DW8
Though beware gamepad support is trash and features no prompts for it except in-game ones.

>3 years old game
>50% off
why is this allowed?

DW8 has like 80 characters.

anyone play the somnus files?

should i get samurai warriors 5 or nah? will i get at least 50+hours of grinding

Is the Tales of Arise PC version quality? I have heard some Tales fans say that Bandai's PC ports are dogshit.

If you go completionist sure.
This is my playtime and there's some stuff I haven't bothered grinding for.

Attached: sw5.png (818x385, 661.86K)

why do weeb publishers never team up with the humble monthly? a bunch of these games are litterally bundle tier..

I played Arise for 90+ hours with not technical issues at all, same goes for Berseria and Vesperia desu

SW 5, DW 8 or Warriors orochi 4?

the pc release is definitive

When the fuck are we getting DMC 5 special edition?

Attached: file.png (968x974, 419.69K)

Issues that are fixable if the other games are to go by, so nothing to really worry about.

>almost all of it is anime trash
I'll miss out on this one, king.

Attached: 1638868634216.jpg (832x1000, 254.86K)

pc got all the special shit already so they just threw virgil on dlc

Never ever, but thankfully thanks to mods you can get a pretty similar version with turbo included

Attached: 1650482017894.webm (1280x720, 2.1M)

Why the fuck is ninja gaiden only getting 25% off?
also is Vergil fun to play on DMC 5?

DW8 > SW5 > WO4

It suffers from some issue that mods can fix if your PC isn't dogshit.. Mainly LOD/Pop in issues on environment and characters. Devs really should add settings for that on PC. but since it's UE4, it's easily moddable.

Japanese developers don't like devaluing their games by putting them in Shovelware Bundle

the only thing PC is missing is ray traced puddles

Good to know, is there Ultrawide support or a mod that fixes the lack thereof?

I'm a 1080pchad so I couldn't tell ya desu

so you're telling me those old Trials and atelier games deserve those shitty deals??

I want to play Ryza but I just don't have time to play many jrpgs like I used to.
