ITT: Anime and/or manga that deserve their own game.
There's a pc88 vn, but I'd like to play a team-based tactical shooter like Valkyria Chronicles based on Bubblegum Crisis.

giant robo OVA
Bubblegum Crisis was mediocre as fuck. I have no idea why so many people like it just because the animation was good. The only episode I liked was the one with the photographer girl.
Birdy the Mighty 2d brawler/metroidvania.
The soundtrack and the atmosphere are top notch.
Came here to post this. Well, post Birdy anyway.
>anime series removed the tomboy
Bullshit.
Also, Crusher Joe would make for a rad vidya considering Star Fox 64 ripped it off a bit already.
based birdy poster, keep fighting the good fight
I don't remember the episodes but the one with chad, his batmobile, and his girlfriend was 10/10
Ojamajo Doremi social simulation game where you go around helping people with magic.
My wife Hadzuki
All chapters in Xenogears FFT engine Qgears or in the engine they are using to do the remake of Live-A-Live
Pretty All Friends musical rpg like Rhapsody on the PSX
did the visual novel ever got translated?
There's already a ton of Slayers games. But none of them are what they really should be. Diablo like game where you get to freely explore the world of Slayers. You join a guild, fight bandits and other guilds, then eventually grow powerful enough to fight Mazoku/Dragons/Gods.
Lina and co will show up once in a while for funny story events. But mostly it's you playing a character you created. And making choices that lead to unique story paths.
This
Got multiple games. The most well known one was literally a follow up to Sailor Moon S (even though the story was copying the story of Sailor Moon R for some reason).
Angel Cop
I would like to see a game that covers the movies and the series. it would be cool to see them fight on an asteroid like in the r movie.
Mario party, but Evangelion.
>tomboy
Priss or Linna?
Birdy’s game engine base around Infamous and Spider-Man.
Love the anime. Best teenhood time.
>metroidvania
Dumbest define terms.
>tap a to ejaculate
Would be cool if they brought in manga villains like the cyborg CIA niggers.
like most anime, the waifus
Plus removed gender bender subplot
cyberpunk
I could see using Tsutomu as a cover for stealth sections, unless you wanted to do a prequel game with Birdy going after alien criminals or a sequel set after she and Tsutomu are seperated.
Metroidlike, then.
>Castlevania cross Monster World.
Work for me.
>bizarre adventure
Most definitely.
That ps2 game was ass
'2D Action/Platformer' doesn't roll off the tongue very well. I also get annoyed with the term metrovania. It doesn't even work with 90% of the games that use that label. But people are going to keep using it so we have to get used to it. Same as RPG or 'souls like'.
catching the cards could be fun
Monster World came out four years after Metroid.
An open-world action-adventure game with Oregon Trail-like mechanics, where you travel between various locations in your Japari Bus, do quests for and enlist new Friends to fight ever-increasing hordes of Ceruleans, discover secret lore explaining what the world was like before the eruption, and eventually gather the means to sail to the next island.
>inb4 "It started as a game retard"
Soulless gacha isn't a game and the anime is completely different from the rest of the franchise
patlabor GTA clone
Surprised they didn't make one when they had the chance. They really bungled the franchise.
Guyver.
This except with Molcars
Extremely based take
we need more than a gacha and a half assed SRW clone
Dominion Tank Police
Policing, but with a TANK
I would imagine it alot like Cruelty Squad (they both take place in piss and shit worlds, heavy use of orgone energy by their authors) but with a TANK and TANK UPGRADES instead of organ upgrades
It truly feels like a product of it's era, it's 80s porn
> she-Zow: Japan version
> now Yea Forums accepts non-binary characters
Pppft.
Animation, soundtrack, atmosphere and waifus. What more is there?
That's what makes it so enjoyable. Rather watch it than seasonal isekai or romcom shit.
Gunsmith Cats FPS with light immersive sim/stealth elements
Birdy and Tsutomu are two different people and neither of them act like troons.
>Bubblegum Crisis.
Make it like Vanquish and Im in
Too many slept on this show, it was great.
>I have no idea why so many people like it just because the animation was good.
You just answered your own question. In every era, there's people who obsess over bad shows just because the animation is good.
Way to go on about something you know nothing about, take your tranny brainrot back to the hole you crawled out of dumbass.
Yup. It got completely overshadowed coming out between CCS and Chobits. It didn't have a chance. Just like Pita Ten got overlooked because everyone was obsessing over DiGi Charat and Galaxy Angel.
RTS with dating sim
When Gundam started with is Build Fighters stuff, Angelic Layer was the very first thing I thought of.
>Pita Ten
Haven't finished it but it's been lovely so far
>Bubblegum Crisis was mediocre as fuck.
I was going to call you a zoomer faggot, but I'll give you a chance to explain yourself.
boss rush beat-em-up
I'd kill for a Keyman game. honestly, I have no idea how they could balance it's story with gameplay, but an action or fighting game would be fun. Such a shame it would never happen.
This, except the only good episode is the last one where the police station is under siege. Also, Leon is hands down the best part of that show, pretty much all of the main girls are really dull.
Leona was my first waifu, wonder what that says about my 11 year old self?
Either a musou or a character action game
youtu.be
Are there any good Captain Harlock games? I only see a pachinko game.
More Slayers games would be great. I like your idea too, would interesting that way.
It says you were a cool kid
Need a Symphogear musou and 2D fighting game using Xrd visuals. Need a Ratman and Hellsing action(and horror in Hellsing's case) game too.
>Patlabor
My man. I know there's an apparently pretty good Patlabor game for the PSX, but I still haven't played it. It's a blend of VN segments and labor fighting missions which is basically exactly what a Patlabor game should be, imo.
There's some Galaxy Express 999 games at least.
youtube.com
Outlaw Star would be nice too.
I would imagine a Hellsing game playing like The Darkness meets Doom
When Hollywood made that Real Steel movie, the whole time I felt like it was imitating Angelic Layer and Hajime no Ippo. In a good way.
