So given that the only known laws of the GO are legal laws (e.g. cutting off omen horns, hunting down TWLID, etc.), it seems safe to assume additional laws are also just legal laws. In addition to evidence here that no such global "immortality" law exists or is related to the Elden Ring shard known as the rune of death, we can safely conclude the GO is a normal government that is backed by an extremely powerful artifact from an outer god, but nevertheless has to wage wars as evidenced here in order to spread its order

A small writeup on astrologist and carian lore, nothing groundbreaking and still work in progress, there is just too much to sift through for Rennala's three kids, nevertheless, tell me is I missed something related to what's already in the timeline:

Stars influence the fate of the living beings, astrologers try to discern the said fate in the night sky (Celestial Dew [2130], Astrologer Hood [630000], Amber Starlight [8142])

Giants defeat the ice dragons, former lords of the mountaintops (Borealis's Mist [7021])

Astrologers move to the mountaintops to be closer to the stars, become buddies with the giants (Sword of Night and Flame [2140000])

Rennala, an astrologer, presumably discovers full moon magic, probably while still at the mountaintops (Stargazer Heirloom [1080], "Sorcerer" Painting, Greathood [1600000], Rennala's Full Moon [4360])

The influence of the stars wanes because of the Golden Order (Telescope [2040], "that which commanded the stars")

Rennala, followed by her troll knights and enchanted knights, comes down to Liurnia (Greatblade Phalanx [4302], Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen [2959])

Rennala, through her mastery of full moon magic, becomes the leader of the academy, and establishes house Caria as royalty (Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen [2959])

First and Second Liurnian Wars. Radagon meets Rennala in battle. Conflict ends in a draw, Radagon repents and marries Rennala (Miriel dialogue, on of the sword monuments [61021])

So I’m noticing a theme of strong women in this game, everything important is female. Literally all the who’s who of ER are XX. Men are delegated to being simply forgettable champions or warriors, no important roles.

I don't see why giants can't have smaller relatives in the form of trolls and some northmen.
