I'm in a weird place where all this stressful shit is happening but I'm pretty neutral on it all. I'm playing vidya, writing dumbass fan fiction, and otherwise just getting through the days. Could be worse. Hell, I'm even a little proud in some stupid way regarding all the writing stuff. I managed to hit 8k unique readers on my trash. Even been taking requests from people in threads related to it all, to which I've received some appreciation. It's nice.

Could be worse, could be better. I'm just enjoying the little things and trying to avoid the tougher shit.

it goes into the idea of what a "line" or "queue" even is, and how over the years disney has tried various ways to shorten waiting times and enhance customer satisfaction, it does this mainly by documenting the history of the fast pass and its replacements
it is indeed a bit of a rabbit hole but it is a very good video. it makes a point about how there used to be a pretty elegant system that was well liked and was replaced for seemingly no reason other than profit and a need for corpo types to justify their jobs, which has the side effect of turning the modern disney park into an ancap-lite, spreadsheet planning nightmare instead of the relaxing vacation it's meant to be
if you're interested in theme park stuff, defunctland is a nice channel and, while she is incredibly dorky, jenny nicholson has a few videos on theme parks that i enjoy

Good luck user, that sounds like fun. Not sure if you're new to writing in general, but just remember to push through whatever nervousness you might have. It's always nerve-wracking trying to come up with a bunch of stuff and put it all to paper. So even if you hit a road block, just keep writing. Sort it all out later if it actually does get messy. Better to just keep going than agonize over every detail. Sometimes I gotta just force myself to write something, even if it's awful, just to push past the anxiety or constant sense that something may not come out well.

I never really minded that the Legion are underdeveloped compared to the other factions since they have the best faction quests in the game.
