They're literally going to drip-feed in the new heroes to keep peoples attention. They know it will be 'wasting' them to put them all in at once. They're in too deep to prioritize actually providing a good experience for players over marketing

I like the orisa changes and nerfs to shields, but i've always hated snipers and now they're going to be even more annoying

every redesign is shit except maybe torbjorn. They destroyed the color palette, overdesigned them and especially ruined the silhouettes

ironically wrecking ball is the best solo tank you can play, orisa no longer has a shield and rein is the worst tank in the game because he needs an off tank

But they will have to do a lot of chopping and force players to stop trying to use them that way

If ball is harassing the snipers by diving into point, you don't have to worry too much about snipers. His health buff and shield buff are huge for his dive potential. The only tanks with shields now is rein Winston and Smegma, and we all know Winston hard counters Widow

I used to love playing Wrecking Ball but the only real way to get kills was to boop teams off very specific kill spots
Doesn't he still get absolutely shut down by Sombra hacks? Or did that get nerfed?
Also iirc they made some devastating change to his ultimate that, on paper, didn't sound bad but the result was basically it became tremendously easy to avoid

Game needs a hot werewolf character before I look at Overwatch again.

Good old Blizzard balance. Listens to the loudest mob and breaks things in a different direction to compensate.
Playing support is miserable now, and friends who liked to play double tank got fucked too. As did anyone who has played the likes of Orisa and Doom but now have an effectively new character dropped in their lap.

What did they do to supports? Is it the sort of nerf that unintentionally results in "Now you need to spend even MORE of your time pressing the M1 to Heal button!"

It's mostly that Brigitte can't stun and that Ana's sleep has longer cooldown. When combined with there not being an off-tank to help you out and that DPS got buffed it leaves little ways to deal with DPS heroes trying to the supports.
The Mcree on your team can't stun the enemy Genji anymore to help you and neither can any other DPS. You're on your own.

Also fuckton less shields mean that Widowmaker can do whatever she wants.
