Dota is more casual friendly imo, alot of the heroes are very simple and have super simple skills with longer cooldowns that just do damage or stun and no skill shots, or heroes that just farm alot and right click to win, I try league and every champ has like 3 skill shots with low cool down and they apply some stack you have to keep track of or your skill does something different depending on what you cast first or some complicated mechanic like that and it's too much to keep track of and do perfectly, while in Dota I can just click magic missile and it'll follow the enemy and stun them.
