I started Souls with 2, went to 3 and then 1 and Demon's Souls emulator
It's 3 > Demon's > 1 >>> 2

Bloodborne > Elden Ring > Demon's Souls > Dark Souls > Dark Souls 3 > Dark Souls 2

Its good. Felt weird going back to the DS well after BB but they wanted to wash the taste of 2 out of everyone's mouth I guess. Ring City was home the ladder puzzle was great.

And yet for the most part, DS1 is a feature complete game. It's missing, what, Jar-Eel's quest line and one set of armor? Who fucking cares; you would never even realize they were gone if you don't look. Meanwhile DS3 is missing like half its plot, with huge elements being shuffled around or rewritten in the last few months before release. DS3 was cobbled together on paltry 12 month development schedule, you don't need to defend it on that front.

I farmed all gear and had trouble figuring out what I had dupes of, especially with gloves and pants
it's legit impossible to tell 50% of armor apart, that's just not good fashion
