My least favorite aspect of the Persona series is the pervasive implication that everyone is secretly lepressed and wants the world to end. This is a major theme in pretty much every game except for 4 and 1, especially 3 and 5R

After doing a few suspicious things at the start like not taking danger very seriously and having Mitsuru and Aki not go help because he wants to watch Door on the roof when he first picks up an evoker, he's pretty chill for the rest of game and it's easy to get used to him and forget about it.

Pandora? Neat little gimmick that challenges you and has a totally unique battle theme that mixes in multiple motifs from the main characters and the villain.
Hitler and Nyarlathotep? Kino, don't need to explain.
Nyarlathotep 2.0? Fucking challenging and a great way to cap off P2.
Izanami? Good theme and a decent fight, caps P4 off improving it from the weird disco eyeball fake ending.

Nyx is pretty shitty and on the level of the P5 demiurge.

It's a really shitty plan because the whole plot of P3 is basically backstory, a lot of filler and pointless drama, and then they tell you that a god is coming to end the world, and then the game ends. It's a shame that a lot of that plot was dropped going forward. There's tenuous connections to the Nanjo group that are disregarded.

Remember the end of P5 when Ryuji AND Morgana died - in separate scenes, about an hour or so apart - and it turned out they weren't actually dead?
