I always thought it was just coomer bait but holy shit it's incredible. some of the best fighting animation i have ever seen in a game. the motion is fluid as fuck and the gameplay is unique and not combo heavy retardation. the girls are awesome, the stages are awesome. it's literally anti esport fagotry both gameplay wise and aesthetic wise.

Despite the game being not that combo heavy, I hate the unnecessary extra complexity some characters have for no reason. Some of these inputs for named moves have ridiculously tight timings and even in training mode I successfully execute it maybe 1 out of every 100 tries. There's no fucking way I'd pull off the entire string in a real match. I also don't like how your defense is basically a guessing game. If your enemy starts wailing mercilessly on you and they have a faster character you're pretty much fucked unless you successfully roll that 1/6 to counter him.

It's great but I hate that modern DOA and Soul Calibur have retard systems in place for casuals ans spectators (1 button supers/S button in DOA). I also like SC more than DOA for the variety in character playstyles and the fictional elements, but to each their own. Love playing as Bass in DOA, that's my nigga right there

Bros, I finally figured out why even with a VPN, I couldn't add DOAXVV to my Steam account.
I forgot I was actually logged into the mobile app rather than just having it set for Steam Guard and my phone traffic wasn't going through the VPN. So every time I needed to get the 2FA code, it'd show me being in NA while also trying to log in through Singapore
