That's not why submarines suck. They suck because the culture is one of practicing absolute suffering because one day in the future you may be inconvenienced so you need to be ready for it. Also, everyone on a sub completely drops any form of manners and is brutally honest and vicious to everyone about everything. Most people get used to it but some people break down from having an hour long personal grievance meeting where everyone above you in rank sits around and tells you that you are worthless and should kill yourself because you fat fingered a number into a computer

And what does that have to with WW2 subs? They're just slightly deeper diving but more long ranged subs. You're still operating in a type VII sub the same way you would in a type II. Do you even play sub sims? Even in cold waters you get wrecked by surface ships and aircraft

schleichfahrt and aquanox 1 are the best if you like action. aquanox 2 is ok too, but it's over after the prologue (at least it feels like that) and just ends after 5 hours or so

Sub life sounds like something worth lending an ear to. Locked in such a depressing small space for months, sounds like what astronauts do up on the ISS, except sub crew doesn't have cool shit to look at or gravity to play around with, just endless misery. Also I heard sub crewmen are extremely fucking gay, like deranged gay that would make pride fairies blush

Subs are invisible to enemy civs, you'll never know when they'll hit one of your ships.

played this for countless hours as a kid and didn't even understand what was going on. it was somewhat open world with underwater physics for various objects. at some point I found out that could attach a magnet or claw to your ship and carry various thrash from the ocean floor to the stations for money to buy more equipment like torpedos. proceeded to blow up tortoises for days. fun little game, but no idea what it even was about.

It just means make a typo. You have a fat finger and hit the wrong button. I was in the navy. Subs are full of asocial losers, I'm sure many of us post on Yea Forums. We talked sometimes about how much nicer it would be to be in prison than on the sub, because then you at least wouldn't have to stand watch. I remember seeing something about how the astronauts had to be trained really well because sometimes they were out of communication for 5 minutes, and how that sounded like pussy shit because sometimes on the sub we were out of communication for months.

There is a pretty comfy sub in subnatuica, its called a cyclops and you can build some things inside it, like chairs and food machines, crusing around in it in deep ocean is pretty chill

I was excited to watch this because it seemed cool. The buildup was good but then it just kind of peters out by the end. And then nobody gets in trouble and both main characters get a good ending. IDK, boomer war movies from that time are all the same. They get some military footage and a plot that goes nowhere.
