Are there really switches which are better than cherry mx?
I'm not convinced that some startup from china or wherever can just come up with a better switch than the company who invented them.

da ba dee da ba dai

unless its zorro theyre all on par or better on some models
its fucking plastic casing and metal clips, not silicon dies

>come up
Patent expired some time ago, it's just copies with slight variations. At least in the world of pure mechanicals, there are fancier types now
Some of the chink ones are almost identical

I purchased a Leopold FC500R years ago with MX Blue switches and my god it's fucking perfect for typing

I spilled water on my keyboard for like 5th time, and again just had to shake & hairdryer it off. At this point I think I could kill somebody with it, turn their brain matter into ground meat, and it would still work.

What are some good all-in-one keyboards? I don't wanna build my own like an autist.
I do have a Durgod Taurus K320 which I really like, but I need another one and wanna try something different.

I was in a similar position. God damn they are loud, but feels so goos.
I then lubed them, filled the caps with putty as well as the case.
Sounds and feels much better.

only WWII survivors like the sound of this machinegun keyboard

MX Brown is based

has yet to be surpassed

I have blue switches
First I found all the loud clicking weird but I learned to love them

Attached: 1623837568818.gif (498x317, 334.92K)

This. Sure mechanical keys feel better but you're a retard to spend 20 times more for something that feels slightly better.

didn't meant to reply

>only WWII survivors like the sound of this machinegun keyboard
You mean give them PTSD in the office and snap their coworkers spine with their tower while yelling about the japs are attacking

cocks, yes

>used to love blue clickies
>i type miles better with browns and reds
fuck bros.. they are so comfy

if you're shitposting about blacks to the point of finger strain, you need to stay off of /pol/ for a few days

I disagree

You must be American

>Microsoft Ergonomic
Ah, a gentleman of high class. Extremely based.

Same. I still like blues, but I found a good sweet spot with the MX browns. Swapped 8 years ago and never looked back.

what do if one of my keys sometimes doesnt register a key press?
thought about dousing it in isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip, but i cant find my bottle of it

>grow up using this tall ass key dinosaur
>brain can't handle anything medium or low profile
it's like trying to learn mandarin on the fly with my fingertips

>The Formfactor
Outstanding
>The Membrane
Atrocious

I used this keyboard for 10 years at work and at home. I also used the new model for a year.
But ever since I tried a mechanical keyboard I can never go back.

I just randomly ordered speed blacks. What am I in for?

did you order keyboard grease?

N-no...

Lube those brown switches you troglodytes! Lube your stablisers!

Oh... uh maybe you should look into that.

for me, it's the kailh box silent pink

Extremely based.
Dab on wrist pain.

Could I just dunk my keyboard into some lube and wipe it off properly?
I can't be arsed to lube every single key myself.

>blue
reminder that blue switches are most popular among indians due to it being used in the TVS Gold which is one of the most common keyboards over there. Meaning blue switches are being used every day to say "Good morning sir" and "Please do the needful"

Attached: tvs gold.jpg (1280x720, 144.08K)

are ergonomic keyboards even any good if i dont really suffer from wrist pain?

for me it's gateron browns

man why arent there any keyboards with good formfactor AND good switches. Why is it a one or the other deal type thing

>Please do the needful
