very bloated but some people like that
if the game doesn't lick in the first 20 hours, you won't enjoy it
because for the next 300 hours that is all you will do
atmosphere is nice, everything else is a downgrade from origins
unless you really like the naval battles
pick kassandra or you're a faggot nigger piece of shit cunt.
Don't pick Cassandra coomer
Origins was the best nu-Assassin's Creed
It's alright. The best of the nuAC games.
Also, don't listen to this guy . Alexios is based and his hammy voice acting is perfect for the goofy setting
I am almost finished 100%ing Assassin's Creed Origins with its 2 DLCs, and this is while I am marathoning the entire series, in order 100%ing each and every game.
How much longer is Odyssey compared to Origins?
It's fun if you don't mind not completing games. If you force yourself to finish every game you start, you'll hate it.
Yes. Play as Alexios.
Coomer
Based same sex players
Firs tom segura make video him mom FART then he makes video...
of HIM FART
Starts off good, but then you get tired. Story is mediocre, some side quests were actually fun but its still ubi = quantity over quality. And the rewriting of history with the shizo bullshit as usual is so cringe.
FAGGOTS
it's only fun for sailing around and exploring the map
300 hours
>main game got Ubisoft so many good boy points with the queers they weee about to win the first GLAAD media award for outstanding game for it
>that one DLC pissed off all of them so bad GLAAD had to put out a notice as to why the game was even nominated and Ubisoft had to double down on being woke as to not get killed
Probably the funniest thing thing Ubisoft has ever done, bar none
The setting is really nice and beautiful and it has that Black Flag type ship combat with an upgradable greek ship
um actually you're wrong and hateful.
Yes, it's a lot of fun due to the mythic/historic setting and Kassandra being a charming Mommy protag.
goes on sale often and is a great value considering how much game there is
bloat
so much bloat
its like a part time job theres so much brainless busywork
AC is about lineage so if a gay man back in 400 BC wanted to carry on his bloodline he had to fuck a woman that's just how it is
YWNBAW
um wrong men can give birth :)
Ok at best
this guy got it right, you end up doing all kinds of stupid shit that is just dotted everywhere and then you get bored of it because for some reason the game doesnt want you to do the actual story of the game
You will always be a faggot
I'm having fun. I ignore most sidequests tho, unless a real NPC is involved.
There are a lot of these daily missions with literally who NPCs that I don't understand why they are in the game.
Cassandra has a male body type so pick Alexios.
The real question is which dub should you use? Because the English one has the best Alexios IMO, but holy shit everyone else's sounds like shit.
>He uses dubs other than the original English
Ameritard voice actors don't suddenly get better just because they are voicing their own games, user.
I would play it in Italian if Alexios didn't sound like a woman. The Americans nailed his voice.
Without a shred of irony, it's the best in the series.
Didn't play Valhalla but I find a few mythological monsters in ancient Greece to be less nonsensical than Chinese in 9th century England.
It grew on me, as opposed of Origins which ungrew on me towards the end, odyssey starts weak in my opinion and gets better later on
Game gets good once you meet the Athenian chad bros.
Socrates trying to find a hole in my logic was fun.
Valhalla was cool too. I need more games set in ancient and pre-Christian settings. I'm tired of biblical allegories that every writer blindly uses in their stories.
Just finished syndicate and I kinda hated grunt work should I just give up on the ass-creed gamesr
>playing as a woman
I'm neither a homosexual nor do I have the need to project my mental illness called trannyism onto a female character
Significantly. 100% Origins is like 120-150 hours at best which includes DLC. 100% main story Odyssey is like 160-180 and DLC, Tales of Greece, and the crossover bump that up into the mid-to-high 200s. I think my 100% is at 260 when I finished the crossover?
Do you think a week minded child can dissociate because of game's,?
I think it's possible maybe the church fags where right!?
Probably.
I behaved like a nigger after playing as CJ.
It's pretty fun, I'm a sucker for games that let me transmog my gear for fashion, and yeah Kassandra is just better.
Frankly it's a shit assassin's creed game but a great Greek Demigod simulator. Jump off a mountain and somersault without taking damage? Sure, why not accidentally land on a cultist while you're at it? Even story-wise I feel like your ship's first mate and Herodotus are constantly elbowing each other going "See? He/She's a fucking God man, I told you." when you do crazy shit.
Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla are far different than the ones that came before them. They're open world checklist simulators a la Far Cry 3-6.
they're usually canadian
>still can't stop laughing at General Tullius' rural ontario accent all these years later
Canadian here, is that really how rural Ontarians sound?
So I should just give up?
Is the story worth watching on YouTube?
Ontarian and I can't fucking unhear it now
>Hey there bud, I'm sure those accusations of treason and attempted execution was just our bad
>why don't you have some all dressed chips and we can get'er done?
bored by the end of the Spartans two kings quest, one if which is a cultist traitor and obviously it was the decadent faggot and not the spartan traditionalist. Even though I could pick up on this I couldn't convince the court bc I had killed this literal whore monger on another island like 30 hours ago, and it didn't matter anyway since the next mission was to immediately kill the traitor king.
Is the story worth seeing to it's ends?
I want to get to Atlantis but I have a hunch you may never even enter Atlantis in the 'atlantis dlc'
Also:
>games enjoyment increases proportionally to surface level knowledge about it's real world setting
Name one other game besides creeds
Did you like Skyrim or Fallout3/NV/4? Did you like The Witcher 2/3? Did you like Mass Effect or Dragon Age? If you liked any of those games or games like them, you'll like Oddyssey (and most likely Valhalla and Origins too, but Odyssey is the best)
Just listen to the average hockey player to hear the accents of the great white north shine through
the DLC area that's no atlantis is pretty good, I actually fell off before every getting there lol
Elysium is a neat place, but it's really just MORE GAME at that point and you start feeling a bit of the Elden Ring style "but my plate's full already" feeling.
I slapped my sibling in chapter 3.
Lmao I've live in Canada all my life and never noticed the accent until now, I can't unhear it
Not him Skyrim loved Fallout3/NV/4 started and quit too much wirk? Did you like The Witcher 2/3 loved did a 100% on 2? Did you like Mass Effect loved finished all 3 times at least last play hard difficulty evil or Dragon Age never touched it I hate the old. School knight talk.
What about me?
Newfag alert
>goes in for hug
>gets smacked
DEIMOOOOSSSSSSS
I much preferred Origins.
Egypt is a stunning world to explore, the islands of Greece look a bit repetitive in comparison.
Odyssey seemed bloated. And personally I prefer a strong, defined protagonist like Bayek than choosing the story myself.
I'm 33 and I've been here forever I'm just high drunk and you are my drunk gf text
I just can't do without Alexios' voice acting. The misthios is written as charming but only Alexios delivers.
No.
>bayek
Don't you have a CVS to sneak into?
>The misthios is written as charming but only Alexios delivers.
This.
That's alright user. We all have our preferences. I am just glad that the choice is available and hope it continues to be the case in other games too.
I don't care about the voice acting much anyways since I have always preferred to make up a story in open world games instead of paying too much attention to the main plot.
>Even story-wise I feel like your ship's first mate and Herodotus are constantly elbowing each other going "See? He/She's a fucking God man, I told you." when you do crazy shit.
They actually don't believe any of that, they just think Kass is strong so they follow her around. Crossover content confirms that Barnabas only found out she had any sort of special quality about her after he went crazy because she straight up admitted it to him.
...what? You can 100% base game in 100 hours. Unless medusa filtered you that hard.
how long is Valhalla?
is there a mod to make it more historically accurate? like a no blm mode
is there another mod that makes it more fantastical?
youtube.com
>Barnabas going "Dude..." every time you come back with a cyclops head or whatever
>on my shit he ends up being the first mate of an all-female crew of former mercenaries who were
all at one point trying to kill Kassandra
Barnabas is my boy.
