Where does LJ live in this?

The Kiwami remakes suck. Play the PS2 games instead.
Kiwami 2 ruined the scene where Kiryu gets stabbed by adding a stupid sound effect and changing the music. The PS2 track was so much better.
the kiwami gamed have better gameplay and that alone makes them better
>ranking thread
snooooore mimimimimimimimimi
>Kiwami 2 that high
Kiwami 2 is by far the worst one in the series. The only redeemable parts are graphics and open locations, rest of the game is garbage in comparison.
Judgment is barely better than Yakuza 5. Lost Judgment was actually good tho. And fuck Yagami, just make Kaito the protag. Yagami is a personality void with lame combat, looks like a twink, and is the most boring character in his own game.
1 and 2 PS2 versions are the only good games.
>Kiwamis over the originals
>call 7 "LAD"
>no spinoffs
actual 0nigger
So I've started up Fist of the North Star, I;m on chapter 4 when does it pick up?
2 on PS2 is a better game than K2 if you are not a zoomzoom with shiny graphic addiction
RGG’s North Star’s high point is the fights with bosses, everything else inbetween is shit.
Isn't there a mod to remove the stab sound? I like the song that plays, but I definitely agree they shouldn't have changed it.
0>5
rest should not be played
0 tourist is strong in Yea Forums
I'm halfway through Judgment and I like it. The talent agency killing the 3rd game is still the most retarded thing I've ever heard of in my life. How can the actor be better off staying with them than having his own video game franchise?
why you shit so much on k1?
just interested because i've only played 0 and k1
0>K1>K2>3>6>4>5
many people started with 0 so K1 and K2 feel like major downgrades in every way
3 made me quit the series
the worst part is I really don't feel like playing the later "better" titles because it's like jumping into the third movie of a series
might try out LaD in a while though
well it does but..thats expected? because they are remasters specially
>it's like jumping into the third movie of a series
Not really, they basically try to write around the stuff in 3 so it doesn't matter in 4+5, then 6 is basically a remake of 3.
3>2>4>Kenzan>5>LJ>J>7>1>K2>BP2>6>0>Ishin>BP1>K1
Still didn't play it
5 > 0 > 3 > K2 > 6 > J >>> 2 > LaD > K1 > LJ > 4
>then 6 is basically a remake of 3
Not even close.
isn't judgement about cops stuff?
i see no reason to play cops shit
When the whole series got a rerelease the main advice is to just suffer through the early games
No, it's the same as all the other Yakuza games. Imagine an Akiyama spinoff.
Why is Lost Judgment so fucking retarded and boring, Yakuza bros? This is the dumbest and lamest story I've ever seen in a story-centric game. Every Yakuza game has a stupid story but at least they're entertaining or otherwise interesting.
This shit is just so profoundly dumb. It's a shame because everything else about the game is good but the main story is so fucking shit that it's making me down on the whole game.
>isn't judgement about cops stuff?
>i see no reason to play cops shit
What are you a fucking twitch streamer? And no, Judgment is about an ex-lawyer turned private eye. It flirts more with conspiracies and courtroom drama, though there are characters that are police officers, too. Themes revolve around justice and what it means to do the right thing, etc.
0 > J > LaD > K2 > 6 > LJ > 5 > K1 > 4 >>> 3
I don't get why people dislike Ta-bou so much. I think he's a very good character. Also can't relate to the desire of having Kaitou as the protagonist, he's perfect as a side kick.
Seems like a case of mistaking noise for a personality. Loud = funny.
people dislike him?
None of the school characters are sympathetic. Everyone involved with that entire plotline is unbelievable, annoying, or unlikable. I wish Japan would get over their tired obsession with high school.
Lost Judgment is immediately better because you beat the shit out of hordes of them.
Anyone who has 0 as their top game is legitimately retarded.
Elaborate. Or are you just bitter that 0 is what introduced normies to Yakuza?
Where does Fist of the North Star ranks among them? Since its the same dev, engine, VAs and overall gameplay.
>What are you a fucking twitch streamer?
no but i never enjoyed cops shit , yakuza, mafia or cartels are more interesting
In Judgment you play as an orphan who was raised by a Yakuza boss but now you are outside of the Yakuza family but constantly interacting with them and rival Yakuza clans. Sound familiar?
well if you put it like that , yes
consider i've only played 0 and k1 so far
i also enjoy samurai shit but thats not happening i guess unless i play way of the samurai
>I wish Japan would get over their tired obsession with high school.
TBF in Japanese culture you go straight from high school to working crazy amounts of overtime and weekends for a shitty salary and zero free time, I can kinda see why they're obsessed with their high school years
K1>1>2>K2>6>Ishin>3>J>4>BP>5>7
Forgot 0 it goes between 6 and Ishin
of course it is
0=K1=K2=3=4=5=6=LaD
>remember wanting to play the first 2 yakuza more than 10 years ago
>start with 0 anyway
i have the isos somewhere from back then
>3 that high
>4 last
yiu had such a strong start
I'm not him, but honestly a lot of the skills revolving around which heat level you were was incredibly obnoxious and felt like unnecessary micromanaging for a beat em up. That and when the games finally open up as they always do, the pacing between switching is so weird where you just throw yourself into playing one character for so long that it takes a bit to adjust to switching back. Compounded with the obtuse skill tree that is just packed with skills and I don't think I truly understand how to play Majima properly. Kiryu can always fall back on counters and parries, but I still do not know when to use Beast or Rush when it feels like Brawler does it all. I didn't have this problem with 4 or 5, but I also think they get away with mindless mashing more (at least on Normal). I think Lost Judgment's 3 styles (4 now) managed to solve it. I had no trouble learning it even without a Colosseum and they're way more fun. Bouncing off walls, juggling more and more variety to counters feels way better. I think the story just not turning into a complete mess and being like 50% fanservice is easier to enjoy over 4 and 5, but I really just never meshed with 0's combat and so much of the game revolves around it. Also tying an entire style to that horrible Real Estate minigame fucking sucked. Cabaret is fun, but I always get bored after taking down the first boss. I wish they were much shorter but harder minigames.
What I like about Yakuza is that it seems like each person has their own tier list. When you look at other game series, usually fans rank the games pretty similar.
I understand kiwami 2 isn't that good, but the ragdoll physics are hilarious. With how often these games throw enemies at me, being able to throw their ragdoll body through a bunch of furniture is way too fun
>I understand kiwami 2 isn't that good
Kiwami 2 is fantastic. I get Yakuza fans nitpicking if the original is better, but it's still fundamentally a fun ass video game. Especially since we got it after God of War and it blows that game out of the water.
>mediocre game is good when compared to shit game
Holy zoomer.
Yeah, what all zoomers wanted: 30 hours of cutscenes and walking slowly as characters talk about feelings. Shut the fuck up.
I might buy one in the future, which one Yea Forums?
Zero and Kiwami 2 are the only two games in the franchise worth playing.
7 > J > 5 > 0 > 4 > 2 > 6 > 3 > 1
if you don't like 0 you won't like any of the other games
