Best take on copy abilities in the entire series by far, it really pushes the image Kirby is the good counterpart of Dark Matter, his body can be just as twisted.

It's kinda slow but the Aesthetics along with Dreamland 3 are the best in the series. Also it's really fun experimenting with copy abilities.

Slowest Kirby bar none, but playing with copy combinations is fun and I like the idea of him going with a squad of friends that help in limited circumstances rather than DL2/3's 'whoops you brought the wrong friend/power combo, so you need to restart the stage to get the reward' nonsense.

goat ost

Adeleine cunny. That's all.

The most overrated Kirby game. It's still pretty good though.

so slowwwwwwwwww
but great aesthetic
even as a fan I can understand if you drop it, I could see how it would really grate on people

Combining abilities ruined other Kirby games for me.
Except air ride and the golf one.

Every Kirby game is slow. 64 and the Switch one are the only ones I find tolerable. Before I get called a zoomer my first Kirby game was the one on the OG Game Boy.

>thinking kirby's dream course is good
beyond based

Fantastic game. They need to bring back copy fusion

Best Kirby game.

Isn't the first level of 64 pretty much a direct remake of Dreamland 3's? I think I noticed that years ago playing the rom but I never kept up with 3 enough to catch other things.

He’s a good boy

It's ok.

Lol

he is

Best OST, easily

The only good Kirby game

Gameplay is sluggish, but aesthetically it is second to none. I wish there were more 2D N64 games made.

it's good

An enjoyable ride while it lasts.

I was slightly miffed when boss rush didn't include the possessed team member fights.
Also fuck the Adeleine block puzzle.

It's fun to play with the combinations of powers, but then you just find the best one and blaze through like it's nothing, I would recommend a no-power run if you want somewhat of a challenge

Best music in the series

Somehow one fucking short minigame was good enough to rival the whole mario party series.

I've always thought of the Pop Star song as Kirby's theme.

Slow as shit. Combining abilities is a nice idea on paper, but only a few combinations are actually useful.

It was good. It's a damn shame they never brought back the ability combining mechanic.

I remember it being one of the best N64 games I played. Couldn't figure out how to get all the crystal shards because i didn't have internet and was just a young kid when i played it
what happens if you get all the crystal sharts?

It's a really, really good game for kids, and decent fun if you're an adult.
It's the epitome of what a "kid's game" should be, in my opinion.
If you like Kirby at all, for any reason, you'll find a way to have fun with it.

Easily the worst video game-related purchase of my life. Forced me to skip the GC/PS2 generation and made me swear to never, ever pay for another Kirby game; a promise I've kept. A betrayal from Nintendo that I will never forget.

Why do people wank the combo abilities in this game so hard? There's literally only 3 useful ones, the rest are fucking trash.

I like the large movesets of Super Star and 2D Kumazaki titles more than combining 6 abilities that do one thing into a few dozen combos that only do one thing. Forgotten Land's Evolved Ability setup is pretty excellent too.

Also Robobot Armor was the logical conclusion to the Animal Buddy concept, and the best spinoffs are Dream Course & Fighters 2.

I played it for the first time recently, before Forgotten Land came out, and knocked it out in a day. It's pretty good. I don't think it's one of kirby's best but it certainly isn't a bad one.

because they're cool

For me it's the Invincibility theme and Rock Star.
I always think of Green Greens honestly.

this stage is probably why autumn is my favorite of the seasons. I was seven when I played this and I was so engrossed by the aesthetics.

I never realized after like 25 years this game has multiplayer

very good kirby game

From the older games it's my second favorite behind Super Star but above Adventure

They're fun to dick around in because its a low intensity game.

>Easily the worst video game-related purchase of my life.
you've bought two games in your life, relax pirate.

most soulful kirbo game. Top tier music, kino aesthetics, fun levels and interesting take on the copy ability. Downsides are its both super short and super easy.

I think Dreamland 3 was easier, at least 64 has limited jumps

That one is funny

My favorite of the rare Kirby games that are considerate enough to feature Adeleine.

So is the Waddle Dee in 64 Bandana Dee?

DO NOT LEWD THIS PURE BEING

alternate ending, the normal ending ends on a teaser

It's overrated by nostalgiafags but the music is great, and the combo ability gimmick is fun, and miracle matter is one of my favorite boss fights in the series.

I headcanon this to be the case, but I doubt HAL will ever confirm it. A lot of official 64 interpretations seem to use a normal Waddle Dee.

SOUL INCARNATE

64 lifts several level pieces directly from DL3 and most of the OST is remixed from there as well. As well as enemies. It's the same director. Only thing missing are the animal friends (stone transformations aside).

there's a hidden 100% cutscene where you fuck the fairy queen that looks like /jp/-tan

Am i the only one who thinks the factory song in Kirby 64 sounds like the Factory song from DKC1?

Super Star is the overrated by nostalgiafags

Incredibly soulful game. If Kirby ever returns to 2D, it better be 2.5D
Based checkerboardCHAD. Best minigame ever created

holy kek that was good

it's never been confirmed and star allies in particular seems to go back and forth between it being bandana and a normal parasol waddle dee, but i like to think 64 dee and bandana dee are the same.

Attached: 1604027490625.jpg (529x472, 91.04K)

the normal boss theme is such a fucking banger, and it goes best with the shiver star boss when it transforms

n64 really had the best games with DnB tunes
