I have no idea why the dad is perceived as bad guy here. He has a reasonable point.

First season was unironically the best one.
Second one fucked with the lore hard for no reason, but at least it brought air bending back.
Third season was only good because of Zaheer and the creative bending.
Fourth season was dogshit, Kuvira and her giant robot was fucking stupid.

The S1 ending was good up until Korra got her powers back.
If she remained an air bender and had to make friends with 3 different benders and re-learn everything from the start, it would have been great.
