I loved invasions in the previous games but it truly sucks in ER, there aren't any good areas to invade except from stormveil which was fun only at the game's release, it's all multiplatform host chasing with 3v1 gangbang finale or host running for the boss. I miss some areas like Aldrich's faithful where it was actually fair and super fun to do all day

I've platinum'd every souls-like From game and I still want to just chill in the world with a friend every now and then
Used to twink in the burg, I know invading is great. I genuinely enjoy regular fair pvp as well sometimes
and you can select your difficulty by just not leveling or upgrading, so you can still have a balanced experience co-oping without invaders thanks to the co-op mod :)

Invasions have been dogshit since DS3 where they prioritized matching with groups, the only fun invasion spots were the invader covenant areas where you could get multiple invaders in a world quickly.

It's even WORSE now that its not possible to invade solo players, and covenants like those don't exist anymore. It's also impossible to have more than one invader unless the host uses the mad tongue.

If you wanna invade, play DES, DS1, or DS2. It's vastly more balanced for the invader AND the host. DS3 at least had the covenant zones but ER has fucking nothing. Not even any real rewards for invading. Also the retards at Bamco need to put the PC servers back up.

The problem isn’t that you can’t invade people who aren’t in co-op, it’s that the PvP in the game is absolute fucking dogs hit, by far the shittiest, most unbalanced garbage they’ve made yet, and it’s primarily thanks to their shitty weapon arts, it’s nothing but faggots spamming L2’s at each other or Bloodhound stepping around each other like flies around shit for 10 minutes before anyone does anything meaningful.
