Elden ring has 4 (four) heavy armour sets and they're all clipping catastrophes

They might as well not have put STR in the game since everything is catered to DEX.
Armor in Elden Rings sucks ass in general. It's full of gaudy ugly shit that doesn't mix and match well at all.
You just posted a good looking one though
The armor in this game really is ugly as hell, yeah.

HIRE ME FROMSOFT
Why is there so little fucking conventional armor in this game? It's all meme ceremonial, overdesigned shit with faces/horns/bodyparts on it. The other games like 3 of those armors type, this game every fucking armor is like that except the 2 or 3 on the shitty low level mobs in Limgrave.
It doesn't get any more conventional than the plain chainmail set you can buy off Kale right at the start
That's what I said fag. All the none garbage sets are the basic shit you encounter 5 minutes into the game. Anything that's not immediately available within 10 minutes of exploring Limgrave looks like dog shit.
Agree. Dark Souls 3 was pure armor porn so that's a disappointment. They should have just added Artoria's set for me so I could ignore the rest
Disagree on that point, every character in DS3 looked like a skinny ass lanklet in most armors, and overall the sets weren't that memorable.
ER has cooler sets despite the fact that they might not mix with each other as well. The heavy armor sets in ER are dogshit though.
> Dark Souls 3 was pure armor porn
almost every armor had big neck gaps that weren't there in previous games. dark souls 3 had some of the worst version of every armor they copypasted from 1 and 2
the fia set is great.
and the malenia set looks good to
tobad no armor upgrades like in ds1
Given the way poise (doesn't) work, all armor is mostly for decoration
Out of the bunch, Dark Souls 2 had the best armour sets by far.
Too bad they look like fucking shit in 2, and it took til 3 til we could see the good designs from 2 actually look good.
Poise is amazing once you go above 60
I'm not autistic so I didn't care about neck gaps
Because this game is high fantasy.
It's more over the top and fantastical than dark souls was in general, more extreme.
>poise (doesn't) work
another retarded dark souls 3 baby cocksucker
>all the basic shit is encountered at the start of the game
Excellent game design.
literally every returning armor from 2 looks worse in 3. especially the ruin sentinel armor
Na, I disagree. Game can look hideous, sure, but the armour looks good and actually realistic. To an extent, of course.
Went through the whole game as str with only enough stats spread around to cwrry armor and wield my weapon. I got buttfucked a few times by bosses but not anymore than in any other souls game.
Poise works you just need to be an armor monster
Armor in From games has been (aesthetically) always complete garbage since DS3
I remember playing DS3 and being excited for potential sets and reaching the end of the game and barely ever having changed from some garbage I found early on because fucking everything looked like utter shit
All the other SoulsBorne games didn't have this problem
But DS3 did
Elden Ring was slightly better than DS3, but it was still shit and garbage compared to the pure kino armor sets we got in DS1 and 2
Can't see it from here, but one thing I fucking loathe about DS3 is the helmets almost always have a gap between that and the helmet and it sticks out like a sore thumb, especially if you play a light skinned character. The Faraam armour set is the perfect example of this shit.
Armour upgrades were dogshit
It’s because Onions Ring was made by Dark Souls 2 team, and Dark Souls 3 team is the Dark Souls 1 team I think. I didn’t like elden ring enemy designs, it feels like everything is just a big round object. But in Dark Souls 3 every enemy feels like what you can see they’d feel like. Down to animations and things. I genuinely enjoy the realistic practicality of the enemies in 3 even if they aren’t very attractive in appearance.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
>Dark Souls 3 team is the Dark Souls 1 team I think

Some of it looks really stupid and MMO inspired. I spent a good chunk of the game using a mix of the normal Knight Set and the Vagabond Knight Set.
Dark souls is a better game, we've been able to admit that for at least a month now.
I agree until you get the lordvessel then it’s worse than elden ring and even 3
I... agree. Recently tried to play through, but once I got to Sens Fortess, I lost enthusiasm.
It’s either Patches or it’s Siegeward.
I think Onion Ring solid, but it still feels like everything is onions. :)
I disagree, but just because that's when I started to get the hang of the game.
I'm playing sorcerer as a second playthrough and I used the astrologer set until I got to rennala, and now am using her set and it's been like 40 hours total of using 2 fucking mediocre looking sorcerer sets. where the fuck is my wizard/witch kino outfits?
you really made a pic of DS2 on all low settings vs DS3 on max, and the DS2 one still looks better. seriously kill yourself.
Dark Souls 3 truly is dogshit trash
Poise was designed to work better with heavier weapons.
You are one dishonest nigger and you know that. Here's what the armor actually looks like from the fucking wiki.
>Armor
2 > ER > 1 > 3
Looks like he's wearing cobwebs on the right lmao
DS1 has way better armor than Elden Shit.
Has Alva's set been modded into ER yet?
>take out the gameplay and situational purposes of armor
>reduce it to pure aesthetic
>most of the aesthetic sucks absolute dick save for simple cloth/wizard sets and a handful of medium armor sets
Jesus H. Fuck what were they thinking?
>60 vigor the minimum if you don't want squirrels in the haligtree to rape you
>heavy armor with a big weapon? that'll be 80 endurance (oh and we hard cap stamina at 20)
>posted one day after I stopped checking Nexus daily
Neat.
nexusmods.com
I went str and then respec faith on my first playthrough and got steamrolled often. I always used to play strenght in previous Souls games. Started a new playthrough and went Dex this time and holy shit is it easy mode compared to before.
>modded screenshot
ds2 trannies are embarassing
>vanilla armors
Worst post in the thread.
All the armors I've used actually haven't clipped with each other unlike DS2 where any of the armor pieces, even in a specific set, would clip with each other.
>He fell for the Ps3 screenshots
