What do you want in a Yakuza 8, whether it be story related or gameplay related.

Kiryu gets Haruka pregnant and there's a gut punching minigame to give her a miscarriage.
>one night in Manilla
tanimura game
Wow, now HERE's someone that dose not get Kiryu at ALL, he WILL impregnate his dauterwife and he WILL raise the child with care
ahh kazuma san
Is Saejimas side stuff worth doing in Y4? I'm really enjoying his story and love his gameplay but kind of don't want to do sidecontent because of how much I enjoy the main story and I felt Akiyama's sidestuff was pretty shit so i'm not confident that Saejima's will be good either.
to not be shit like 7 was. the series is dead after judgment.
His trainer is alright, Fighter Maker is alright, and a couple substories are okay. If you didn't like Akiyama's I don't think you'd like Saejimas as much because Akiyama's are some of the better ones.
I want a brawler game about the security company Daigo and Watase are forming.
>The Yomei Alliance is trying to sweep up the Tojo and Omi remnants and take over Kansai
>Daigo, Saejima, Watase, and Katsuya have to stop them and end up forcing the third-largest yakuza group to disband as well
>Sequel where another group realises the Nagoya Family doesn't exist allowing for a Daigo and Shinada team-up
I want another Yakuza 5.
You join the Kaiju yakuza and take the fall for a murder you didn't commit to protect Godzilla-san.
Really? All of Akiyama's were boring as shit to me outside of a handful. Didn't find the character that appears in multiple of them to be that interesting either.
I found the quality to go Akiyama > Tanimura = Saejima > Kiryu. Tanimura also had a lot of duds in his.
I really enjoyed a lot of Akiyama's test substories and debt collecting.
Saejima has the kappa one, Fighter Maker, and his trainer like I said but he's plagued by the police making getting around annoying.
Tanimura's only notable ones were Russian roulette and suicidal guy for me, everything else was a dud.
Kiryu's I only remember the band he helped from 2 or 3, I forgot which.
Guess I won't bother with sidequests then
It's worth it for Amon at least, they have a pretty humorous one, and then 5's is even better.
More Ichiban is gonna happen anyway
When's the next game
I've been longing for another
rather just watch someone else do it, not worth the grind and amon fights are just bs anyways
annnouncement in like 2 days maybe
Akiyama
Only BS amon fights are 1, 3, 6, Jiro in K2 and arguably Jo and round one against Noa in 5. The other gimmicks like 2's instakill or Judgment's simon says projectiles are fine once you know they're coming and 4 is probably the tamest outside of Kiwami 1.
>Noa
lol
lmao
Using a killsat in parking lot dance off is objectively a dick move
Noa is a joke in both dances. 1's only bad in the grenade phase otherwise I wouldn't say he's bad at all since 2 deals way more damage. Jo's only BS in 5 because of the DT, outside of that he's pretty fair. Dead Souls' is the most unfair because of the insta-kill laser and if you don't know it exists when you finally reach him you have to do ALL the Underground Subterranea to reach him again. I was pissed. FotNS is also nonsense if you don't abuse the hell out of your DT mode because phase 3 has attacks that ignore your blocks completely and one-shot you even at max level.
>K1
>Tame
K1's is one of the worst because it's Tiger Drop or nothing. The speed increase in phase 2 is basically impossible to do anything against since it's faster than you dodge or recover. Phase 1 is tough but fine
haruka tummy kissing minigame
Grandpa Kiryu in Sapporo with skiing mini game. And vacation in Kyoto
how about this
TW-style RTS/empire management game, except it's private security vs the yakuza
>All of Akiyama's were boring as shit to me outside of a handful.
get a load of this homo.
>actually getting good at the dancing shit
dickless women
>everything else was a dud.
>forgetting about Tanimura's long spanning substories that culminate into taking down the human trafficker ringleader and avenging his dad
>forgetting about the mixer substory where you can wingman or cuck a dude
What are you talking about dude? Tanimura had some of the best substories in 4.
I want Yakuza 8 not to happen because Yakuza is shit with no redeeming qualities.
forgot about the non-yagami spinoffs, you're right about DS, though personally I'd rather do that slog again before grinding for and through 7's TFMT
>Tiger Drop or nothing
sure, but between Jingu and the Ultimate Battles you'll have already gotten the idea that that's the entire endgame, and phase 2 is just a moveset you'll already be familiar with TDing but with the damage cranked up for both sides in what academics refer to as "the reverse Shimano"
The only good one was the one with the scammers who end up in a bath full of his Akiyama's money. All the others were really predictable and had 0 charm. I guess the one involving hana was kind of okay, she really should've had more involved substories since I do like her and akiyamas relatinship but we don't see a whole lot of it
OP didn't ask and literally no one cares
I completely forgot about the second one yeah, and I don't remember the mixer one at all. I liked Nair but I don't think she was a substory, was she? I thought she was just the trainer.
He did ask. He just forgot the question mark because he is a retard-level IQ weeb.
She does have a substory, inbetween sparring sessions you investigate the cult that killed her brother, which is also tied sometimes to the police calls, you trade info and then you spar
After you finish all the trainings the guy that killed her brother kidnaps her and you have to fight him and save her at the millennium tower.
Don't know how you have Kiryu that low, I thought his was second to Akiyama. That cool mini redemption for Hamazaki and Haruka standing up to him at first and then being the one with him when he dies. The way you start with a ton of abilities unlocked already. That awesome boss fight vs two of the other protagonists. Finally, the long battle through Kamurocho hills is one of the best in the series
We're talking substories, not main story. For me main story would definitely be Kiryu = Akiyama > Saejima > Tanimura, and Tanimura's only that low because of how rushed his main story is. One chapter is literally just a long gauntlet and like one cutscene.
Never mind I'm retarded and can't read you were talking about substories. It's been so long I can't remember any of them.
Don't forget that Saejima has a chapter that is the boss fight against Kiryu and nothing else. Him, Tanimura, and the Finale were all super rushed. That atop the stupid rubber bullet plot point are probably why 4 is my least favorite in the series.
Young Kuze prequel
Subjective
I like turn based RPGs
Dial 8
Dilate
At least with that part I was actually extremely hype to have it happen whereas with Tanimura it's straight up just him handcuffed to the briefcase which means one form of attack and you're basically running half of a route Akiyama did earlier in the game.
Saejimas entire main story is gold tho, it's kind of lacking in raw gameplay but he's a pretty compelling character and has a cool story to tell that I feel you could only ever get from a yakuza game
I forget, did Kazama's brother ever actually die or did he just kind of fuck off forever after 3? If he's alive bring him back and make him playable with gunkata. The last few games have been severely lacking in laughable Engrish.
He just basically disappeared from the series. He takes Kiryu on the super secret CIA jet and then the game pretty much just forgets about him.
Bring back Saejima's giant breasted hostess from 5
Two weeks
The VA died which puts a damper on things
Sex tourism
Anybody have any recommendations for where to get save files for Yakuza 0 on PC? I wanted to get specific footage involving Majima, but my PS4 save data is gone.
You'll get your shitty clan battle mini game and you'll like it
At what point in time will the Yakuza series be rebooted? Since the series keeps track of irl years Kiryu and Co. will be in their 50's except Majima who will be 60. Pretty soon they'll be too old to be effective yakuza.
7 was already the soft reboot.
This is why it amazes me they made Ichiban so old.
They're working on passing the torch to a new cast, we'll see if it works. And does Kiwami count as a reboot of sorts?
Beat em up combat instead of the shitty jrpg combat
>Pretty soon they'll be too old to be effective yakuza
Being old doesn't really stop you from being cool. I mean, Kuze is one of the cooler antagonists and he's an old fuck who at minimum had to be in his mid 50s
T.troon
an ARPG or beat em up instead of another poorly designed turn-based system that just rehashes the same shit in typical yakuza fashion
