I don't get this. Planescape is immediately interesting from a gameplay, atmosphereic, and narrative standpoint. Its nothing like the average CRPG where you spend 5 hours building a character and then another hour in some starting village trying to find out where the fuck do I go

Everyone already said it but it really is the Mother series. I started both earthbound and Mother 3 and lost interest both times. Probably because I got spoiled on the ending of both of them.
Also mother 3's rhythm game mechanics did not work at all on my emulator
