I don't, I couldn't care less if a character is gay or straight. I played through Psychonauts 2 and I loved it.

I just hate obvious virtue signaling. There is a difference between a well written character happening to be gay who has his own strengths and weaknesses and flaws, and a character that they prop up on a pedestal to advertise the fact that he is gay and the only real defining aspect of the character is a Flanderization that he is gay and making his whole backstory about his tragic gay past and how he is an awesome powerful character now because of it.

I have no idea what this character is like, but if we're talking about a zombie survival game, does a character's sexuality even ever come into play there? The fact that they are making such a big deal about having a gay character (Whoopee, we have had hundreds of gay characters in the past, this isn't new, the main characters in Fear Effect on the PS1 were lesbians. It's like when Marvel made such a big deal about Captain Marvel being a female superhero in 2019 when WB didn't make a big deal about making Wonder Woman in 2017) for a game that as showed is dying is just clearly an attempt at trying to shill by virtue signaling.

I typically pick the warrior class in games. There are a large portion of homosexual gamers who want to pick a character that represents them.
