i fuckin love wan piss despite all its flaws - the most egrigious being the god awful pacing - i still find myself coming back to it. in fact im currently watching again from the beginning so that i can have a bunch of new episodes to binge watch when i finally get back to the wano arc. just finished skypeia and i just wish the later arcs had this kind of pacing. sure the lore isn't quite as fleshed out but the characters are likeable, you understand their motives and sympathize with all of them. and when it all just links together at the end like a knot being tied its super satisfying. i also missed the entire crew being together and interacting. theres a lot more comedy between the crew members early on and its sorely missing in the later arcs. too many characters are introduced which reduces screen time for ones you actually care about.
