Trying to help a buddy whos new to Yugiohs build some decks. What are some good budget decks for someone trying to aboud using UR? We already built Crusadia which he really enjoys. Wish some of the bad archetypes in this could have their URs lowered into other rarities so they'd be worth playing over actually good stuff.

Why do people say they hate stun when combofags are 100 times worse? If I see Moon Mirror Pachy and Fissure on their field and I can't out them then I leave, or I use my out and the duel continues. If I play a combofag then I have to sit there turn one and wait 20 minutes until he shits out the same omninegate board every combofag uses regardless of what deck they're using.

Explain to me how first turn kill decks are fair. I'm not talking about decks like Numeron I'm talking about Exodia, DD Dynamite, and whatever that stupid pendulum deck is that kills you literally on the first turn of the game. If you didn't draw the right hand trap you just auto lose to the opponent playing solitaire. I have 2 Nibirus, 3 maxx "c", and 2 ashes and I never draw them when I go up against that cancer. Is there some secret mechanic I don't know about because if not this game is a joke that should be less respected then Tic-Tac-Toe. Is this sort of stuff banned in the TCG?

I had a funny game against Pacifis once. I managed to get a decent board out, but I just kept going straight to Battle Phase without doing anything. Right before I go to attack for game he pops Maxx C, probably hoping I would activate anything at all because MD players just click fucking buttons. I just have this image in my head of the Pacifis player soijacking going

I just made a similar deck a hour ago thanks to the 1k pull, I also dusted my spyral deck after thinking on it, IDK about honest but it still loses to raigeki as an opener and if your opponent realizes your aiming for 4 fairies in the GY it can be interrupted through banish or whatever they have.

There's just so many ways to FTK people though, and they're inconsistent enough that no one cares. For most people if you lose to it, it's whatever in casuals.

You use it to stop combos or hold some key monster like dorito. Target is really non issue.

Because Stun is worse than Combo decks. Not every fucking Combo deck is Drytron, you can interact with Combo decks on their turn (when you draw handtraps) and good players are rewarded for matchup knowledge. Combo players also have to at minimum learn the combo and depending on the deck know what your plan B is when you get interrupted. There is no interacting with Stun most of the time. You either have backrow hate in your hand already or you just don't get to play hoping you hard draw the out. You do not need skill to be a Stun player, you just flip or normal summon your floodgate. No one likes losing to skilless players in any game. I have more fun trying to stop fucking Drytron even when I lose than ever even playing or beating a Stunnigger.

They're not lol. Pretty much every FTK enabler gets banned or severely crippled in the TCG save for a few exceptions. They even limited Monster Gate last banlist because it was being used on a meme Machina FTK that only saw success once ever.

You have to set Droplet to use it during their combo on their turn anyway, and for extenders you're mostly stopping searches at that point, it doesn't matter if you negate the tuner when they synchro with it regardless

There are almost no FTKs in TCG, and only a few technically FTKs like Nurse Burn that exist because side decking totally invalidates their existence and they don't have shit like 3 fucking Upstart and unbanned Chicken Game to carry them. Actual FTKs are stomped out quickly because everyone knows they're fucking unfun cancer. I think the only relevant one that even exists in TCG right now is the one with Amazing Dog Mary and Machina Ruinforce.
