elden ring bosses aren't actually that poorly designed are they?
Elden ring bosses aren't actually that poorly designed are they?
imagine having wasted earth dollars (time) making this image or posting it
Gideon being based as per usual
I've never seen so much cope in one image.
agreed, there's a lot of people that suck at the game
Based Gideon telling the shitters how it is.
SIR GIDEON
THE AAAAAALL KNOWIIIIIING
Funny enough, those copes would be the exact type of shit Gideon would pull since he was a pushover boss and super full of himself.
if he's so all knowing how didn't he know I was gonna beat every eye decorating his ass black and blue?
The amount of seethe people have around this game and people not having the exact same opinions of it makes me so happy.
>play mage
>have to invest in mind and int to be able to use spells and have them do damage in the first place
>OR have 60 vig and no investment in my other stats
>play mage
>blast through the entire game unchecked
Vigor is a meme, user-tachi.
They're not, those namby-pamby no skill tarnished are just aggrieved
of course not, my fellow SKILLED gamer.
from software games are FLAWLESS, it is a known fact.
>M-muh gayme deezyne!
Ah yes, the musical call of the idiot child that lets us know summer is right around the corner.
WE

>want also close range stats
Retard, and vigor over 50 is a waste

Elden Beast should have been a horsey battle, but other than that many other bosses are also terrible
Except malenia straight up has RNG if shes gonna do follow ups fromshitter
OP is saying "one-shot" is not a valid argument because at 200 hours into the game you should have a shit ton of vigor. By the time a mage player reaches Leyndell they'll have invested in both mind and int to be able to deal damage and wouldn't be able to catch up on the vigor requirement to survive more than one attack unless they grind like motherfuckers
>anons in this thread
the only thing that bothers me is the fact elden beast was clearly designed with torrent in mind but those fucks made you walk
There's always tiers to how you level up lad, you can't just dump everything into getting int to 80 right away, or getting some 40 mind. You have to balance things as it goes. Besides, getting int to 68 and mind to like 25 is gonna allow you to deal with things just fine while keeping up vigor at lower but acceptable levels since you're playing from long range.
If you're stupid enough to keep your vigor to base stat until lyndell, then you're straight up just retarded.
He knew. But he had to try.
t. the shitters being called out by this
it garnered a lot of responses so i'd say it's pretty based ngl

>all open worlds recycle content, it's normal
>that quest is actually finished, it's just no one found the trigger
>just level VIG
>>he levelled VIG
Too many bosses are similar, not talking reuse, just that too many are huge humanoids with massive weapons that ALSO move incredibly fast and also blast out a massive attack every time they read your input for an item/heal.
That's probably what makes people complain about it more, since those aspects are in mostly every fight.
Fantastic game, exploration/world are legendary but boss design shouldn't be as obnoxious and full of blatant baits for attacks that do so much damage, but I am a fan of Dark Souls I/Demons more than any other by a mile because those games weren't made to challenge people who already had 2000 hours in souls games hence they were more tame about how they challenged the player.

hahahaha cope. souls games are so fuckin bad
I'd bet a good chunk of money the redditor that made this image is vaccinated.
>fromdrones so btfo they need to correct the record with an infographic
zanizbart....
The game has its problems but discussing them isn't nearly as fun as triggering user by simply saying "skill issue."
they're godawful
>skill issue
Where can I find this magazine and read it?
That explains a lot, thanks Gideon.
>Man with two many hands panic rolls and tries to chase you with a flame thrower
>Playing hide and seek while woman poltergeist the room at you then she gets serious and unloads every spell while summoning spirits to keep you away
>Giant general does sick drifts on a horseback and messes with gravity while you lead an army of heroes to chase him through the desert
>Big fat snake slowly chases you down a cave while detonating big explosive chains as you poke him with a magic air spear
>Asshole Janny summons an arsenal of different magic weapons as you duel for the throne
Yeah man these guys are just the same fight over and over it's nuts
you are going to need like 20 vigor to survive with 10% hp from enemies attacks as a cloth wearing mage. which isnt that bad considering you deal damage from range
basically the issue is that people are just garbage at the game. So many people farm up runes and are given OP gear as they get rushed through the game with their high level friends, then these people who are massively over leveled for the content and still have no points in vigor think that their opinions on game balance matter.
If you didn't beat every single boss you are but a HOUSE GUEST!
just like OP gideon is a weak skinnyfat bitch and nobody would ever struggle killing him
Based, I already spotted several trannies seething because they can't handle the truth.
>they fixed Godskin Quintet being Godskin and a Half
darn.
>He was litterally one-shooting me until I removed the radagon soreseal
bro i don't know who you're listening to, but you don't need 60 vig to beat endgame bosses. you don't even need 50.
I don't know what this means. Anyways have they fixed the bugs yet where bosses just randomly die?
Apologizing to the soreseal anons was one of my most humbling moments. They were right all along. Armor matters, negation matters, poise matters.
Yep, bleed and frost don't instantly end the fight anymore
40 or even 30 is enough if you equip the right talismans.
100% did not beat the fucking game
Okay good to know.
My only complaint is that some bosses have long combos without jumpable sweeps, and if you're not perfect with your dodge roll at their final swing you don't get a punish, which at best is 1 attack. May as well replace the flailing with a loading screen that has a dodge button rhythm game because you're not going to need any other button from the next hour, hour and a half.
>dont
HAVE NO ORIGINALITY
this kills whiners & shitters
>why can't I hold all these moons
>crucible knight is a boss
Malenia isn't even hard.
You just suck.
I'm fighting Fortissax now on my faith build. Does he count as undead for holy to be effective or am I better off continuing to abuse pest threads? Also, are his incantations worth it?
Fortissax Lightning Spear is wonderful and fun
Death Lightning is less consistent then Ancient Dragon Lightning Storm
I dunno about the faith thing because I basically always used flame art weapons
I'm using a flame art claymore now. It does its job pretty well.
He actually has very high holy resistance from my experience, best things to use against him are flame stuff. It becomes even more obvious in NG+.
>be mage
>lv 70 before my first point in vigor
No need for health if you don't get hit.
