There's 28 jobs, if they shared passives that would be completely broken.

I enjoyed the game because I enjoyed Final Fantasy 1.

Making it a pseudo-isekai was dumb and simply jumped on the bandwagon of the current isekai fad.
Ash, Jed, Neon, and Sophia never got much development. Neon is very cute and Sophia is kinda hot, I'll give you that. Ash is still a nigger though and Jed is a whiny little bitch.
Sarah and Mia were cute, but even they played a very marginal role since the game is just a dungeon crawler with no real towns to explore.
Many locations were completely ignored. (I was looking forward to Crescent Lake but you never even get to visit it once. Same for the original Lufenian continent.)
Important characters were omitted (you never visit Matoya's Cave or Alfheim), while minor characters like Astos and fucking Bikke play important roles in the story.
Equipment upgrade makes no fucking sense, since it takes too many items to upgrade and the upgrade is not even worthwhile since you are always finding new equipment far too quickly so it's not worth the hassle to upgrade since you're gonna find something better three minutes later.

The "Bullshit" meme scene when Jack walks away listening to music on his smartphone was beautiful and it was worth playing this shitty game anyway.

If we can't have 100% positive threads it's not worth having threads at all. Hopefully by the time the DLC is out anyone with a criticism of SoP will have fucked off (or ideally killed themselves) and we can have a good thread again.

I beat that room as Dark Knight, with Souleater always on, healing with Drain and almost always in critical HP.
I was playing on normal difficulty though, no idea how hard it would be otherwise.

I had the exact same issue. If I remember I had to move the EGS emulator into another folder and open it like that. I think. Post your folder and I can tell you what to do.

I wish they would let you wear this armor after beating the game, maybe the dlc will fix that.
I hope the gilgamesh dlc brings the dissidia armor as well, but i'm not holding my breath

I'm pretty sure that's also a contributor to why this game didn't do nearly as well as it could have, and died just as fast.

I'll admit, the first time it was shown I thought it was just going to be a chaos killing sim, and I loved it for that. just an honest to god, simple video game.
Kind of got disappointed when it stopped being like that after the first dungeon. But I ended up liking it again once the story started getting revealed over time.

Don't know how any other way they couldve done it though. Didn't they even spoil the whole point of it by revealing Jack's full name early on, trying to convince people it's not a meme game?

I've never had it crash on me, but there were times where the slowdowns were absolutely brutal. There were times where the textures and normals wouldn't load correctly so it'd look like a blobby mess.
