that viking assasin's creed game.

Typical A24 fare. Pointless, pretentious, and boring. Watch Apocalypto instead.

whats the aztec looking guy?

>that viking assasin's creed game.
is it actually any good?
I've ignored ubisoft games since they stopped selling on Steam

Asshalla

this requires elaboration

>copy/paste the plot of Hamlet
>credit yourself for writting it

no niggers in norse stuff? is hollywood finally realizing that woke shit is retarded?

I'm currently replaying Skyrim after watching Northman.
I refuse to play a Ubishit game so not gonna bother with Valhalla.

i know this is bait but this story inspired hamlet.

Hamlet is based on a Scandinavian folktale whose protagonist is is named, get this, Amleth. Ring a bell?
And in case you're too dense, Hamlet = Amleth.
Anyways, this movie is based on the folktale, not Hamlet.

It's the best assassin creed game in the past 10 years I think, which says literally nothing, but if you want a viking game that is a viking game

That's Bjork.

>Nordcucks

i like how you both skipped the part where he credits himself for actually writting it,would updoot if i could

Is she retarded or just from Finland?

She's from Iceland

Redundant

Why are [current year] movie posters so soulless?

Yes

He technically did write the version that is portrayed on screen.
It's like saying that Troy didn't have writers, because it was based on the Trojan war.

Maybe rune. Haven't seen the film yet.

The part with the draugr felt like extremely on-the-nose skyrim fanfic

No, it is horrible.

Viking: Battle for Asgard was good a long time ago but I am sure it is really dated today. Also, ahem, God of War 2018.

Troy was based on the Iliad, the actual trojan war was nothing like that

user, where do you think skyrim got draugr from?

shame people on here are too autistic to pick this up

All we know about The Trojan War comes from the Illiad essentially, there is 0 meaningful distinction to be made.

because why put soul into something that'll be forgotten by the next day

We really dont know anything about the actual Trojan war outside of a burned out city in northwest Turkey.

>retarded

mb warband: viking conquest is fun

>vikangz
lol give me KNIGHTS!!

Let me guess:
Anglo or Western European?

viking battle for asgard

none

ck3
i dont care much for the personal stories of the norse, but norse cultural domination is plenty fun

No, it's just that this director in particular actually likes historical immersion and good worldbuilding in his films. Same guy as The Lighthouse and The Witch.

barely a videogame

Only angloids seethe about vikangz being mean. Anglos left EU because it was too white

Yes, I'm a civilized man.

>good run
>loads of weapons, cash, manpower and armor
>get raided by alps once

yep, thats an uninstall for me

>le hamlet but vikangz
Probably the worst film from Robert Eggers

Yup it’s great. Ignore the seething anglogermcucks that wish they were European

It wasn't an A24 film retard lmao. If it was it wouldn't have been a generic rehash of hamlet.

Blonde bitch is fucking ugly and has downs syndrome

stop bullying anya, user...

AC Valhalla ofc

How did you get raided by them?Outside very specific quests that involve them i haven't seen them roaming on the map.

just go to sleep user

>simple indie flashgame
>at least 2 dlcs are practically mandatory
>the package costs $60 and never gets any real discount
what did they mean by this?

The raids are cool, but the actual exploration is ass. It covers the map in generic points of interest that could be a new skill, or could be a crafting resource. And it doesn't tell you until you get close to it. I felt like the game was constantly wasting my time.

I felt like a brainlet watching it because only at the final duel I realized it looked like the fight of Lion King and then it clicked me, lion king=hamlet, hamlet=amleth

We know that said city could not last a 7 year siege, that probably no army of that size could siege for that long in that area, and that the coast probabaly looked nothing like in the book

Not only do you have varying degrees of exploration setting options that they give you at the start (it can make it show all the points on the map for you, or it can make it harder to find like you said) but the exploration is full of great locations and fun side quests and stories that relate to the britannic culture of the times. Like all AC games they are great if you're into history and mythology.

I don't think those options were there at launch when I played it then. But I don't even know if I'd like that. Ultimately my biggest issue is with the adoption of RPG Lite systems. Finding crafting resource X just to upgrade my hidden blade level so it does more damage but with zero or infrequent appearance changes or new options is incredibly unrewarding.
The writing is really good, especially because they got the Black Flag guy back, but as I wandered the world exploring shit just to find logs of wood in a tower, I felt less than thrilled.
