Cold Steel 3-4 only proved to me how fucking worthless Cold Steel 1-2 were and how much of a waste of time they were when the bigger story arcs just do a horrendous job of handling the characters.
Like despite a fucking cataclysmic event, nobody fucking dies. Despite a bloody civil war, we only get two people dying. That entire drama with Crow, the best part of CS1, was a fucking sham.
You had four games to set-up something as fucking simple as Mecha Highlander but somehow needed all that fucking set-up.
Oh and your villain organization keeps losing members and keeps recruiting little twinks, it's a fucking joke honestly.
I barely have anything good to remember about CS aside from a handful of songs.

Rean isn't better in the dub, the issue is that the sub Rean has very few voiced lines, probably because Koki Uchiyama is an expensive af Seiyuu. Falcom should have hired more literal whos like they did for the EVO sky voices, oh wait but they still hired Takehito Koyasu and he still had like a billion voice, nvm what went wrong with CS shit? Why is the shitty dub the only way to get full voices?
