Zanzibort's wife

my ass

Probably Ranni before she had herself stabbed and her body was burned to a crisp

It's Nashandra from Dark Souls 2. Strange why her portrait is in that particular location though.

Attached: Nashandra.jpg (480x360, 30.86K)

That screenshot is from Dark Souls 3

i can fix her

You see...
Many... many.... MANY... eons ago
...When the stars first...
...
...fell...

Fucking stretches 3 minute videos into 25 minute slogs because of his fake, pretentious "voice acting" and the retarded fanbase eats it up.

what the hell it's actually her

What sword is that?

tanith

It's very weird cause she's a Shard of Manus and it has no place in Irithyll, you know, a place where the descendants of the dark-hating Gods live.

Hollowslayer Greatsword

mirrah greatsword
known to das3babbies as hollowslayer

kek I thought this was Elden Ring.

I knew she looked familiar but yeah why the hell would they have a portrait of her right next to gwynevere's

Attached: 20191013193210_1.jpg (1920x1080, 399.82K)

Isn't that the same portrait as in the DS2 castle? It shoots projectiles if you go close to it or something, it's been a long time since I played that shit game

So Dark Souls 2 is actually canon after all?

why would it be any less canon than dark souls 1? 50% of the items in das3 are copy pasted from das1 and the other 50% are copy pasted from das2

Miyazaki had to throw the DaS2cucks a bone, it's out of place like every other reference to that game in DaS3

Probably a case of muddled history. The Bearer of the Curse was the only one to find out that Nashandra was a shard of Manus. Vendrick went crazy and he was still in love with her even though he knew she was a Shard of Manus so he probably didn't tell anyone before you killed him. Historians probably stuck to the idea that she was this steadfast and noble queen.

The only other person I can think of who knows her identity is Aldia, but he wouldn't really care much telling the world that she was a Manus Shard.

Vaati? More like Raadit, am i right guys...you know because reddit gay heheh...theres a better joke in there somewhere. Please for the love of christ someone help me.

FUCKING NEWFAGS GO AND PLAY GAMES

>has vidya in his name
>steals theories from Yea Forums and /vg/
he's literally /ourguy/

Great joke, user. Truly one for the history books. All those comedians; O'Neil, MacDonald, Sagat, Carlin, all are in envy from your sheer creativity and humour.

ds2 has a recurring theme of sticking your dick in crazy now that I think about it

I don't know. I don't think kit's a bad game but it's feel like a spin off more than a continuation to me.

god these dogshit graphics

All souls are spin offs of prior games. Fromsoft isn't big on actual continuity. They like references in a new format. People keep trying to give lore reasons for why shit happens when the fact is that it's 110% unimportant and it's just self referencing the entire time, for better or worse.

I'm having fun with DS3. Gone fully hollow with sellsword twin blades +10 with a hollow gem infusion and Dancers blades.

no this is vaati

The engine looks like itself, complainer.

yeah, its a concept art illustration they used ingame.
iirc the paintings in ds1 were the same

Attached: 30.jpg (783x1515, 1.04M)

Ah, the great Sagat...

Attached: Sagat.jpg (600x800, 299.82K)

Irithyll is not a place of dark-hating God descendants though. Sulyvahn is from the painted world and Aldrich literally devours Gods and created a cult around worshiping the Deep a.k.a. extreme darkness. Did you even play the game?

SEX WITH SHANDRA

he's the real life dung eater

Why do you fuckers make thousands of lore theories when the correct answer is "they put the painting there because they thought it looked cool and wanted to have a reference to previous game"
The souls lore in the heads of lorefags is like 10 times as big as lore in Fromsoft devs' heads

it's fun

There is quite a bit of DS2 lore in DS3.

based, fucking summerfags are early

What the hell even happen to Aldia? From what I remember he became immortal by fusing with the bonfires but I see no mention of him in ds3. You would assume he would be important since he went from being a mysterious almost non existent character to one of the most emblematic character of scholar.

Dark souls 2 and 3 are so fucking bad, and everything shit about ER stems from copying those 2 games.

wasn't the mentor of the twins implied to be him?

is that a "bulge de benoise" I spy? :33333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333

Stop trying to fit in user.

I beat dancer by constantly hitting her brapper yesterday with my twin spears.

Yeah nice bait but no one cares about it go play something better for your tastes like bing-bing wahoo games or ebin fortine.

Oceiros is supposed to be Seaths reincarnation. They where both pale dragons messing about with their offspring who eventually went mad.
My cannon is that since in ds2 all the lord's where reincarnated into similar beings, holding the same souls, it would imply that the same or something of the sort would be true for ds3, and I don't think there's a disagreement on oceiros being Seaths reincarnation. But Aldia isn't a lord, and by fusing with the bonfires I assume he will always exist as long as there is at least one bonfire lit in existence.
But don't remember any mention of him in ds3.

Aren't those candles far too close to the tapestry?

those are glowing candles, notice their not lit. no cap. frfr

isn't she Manus daughter?

Yes, Manus impregnated Dusk when he captured her, it's their child.

the drop rate on vertebrae shackles is fucking disgusting
fuck this gay shit and fuck fromsoftware for killing the servers

Attached: Abused.png (450x401, 283.76K)

What the fuck are you talking about. She and the other queens are shards of Manus who after his death wandered and reformed and went on to find powerful kings
Nashandra was the smallest and the most thirsty for power

Yeh kinda weird since Ds2 is not canon.

What the other user said made more sense than that fanfiction tier shit you just posted.

He's here right now. Taking notes. Be careful of the Vaatijew. I wish I was joking.

The thing is.
Drangleic is like the UK to Anor Londo being America, there is the sea between the two regions.
But it was possibly during Vendrick's cycle that the Lord's Vessel was converted into the "throne" which is what was used as a symbol of the lords capable of reaching the first flame since.
I also think that the presence of people like Gilligan, Creighton, Alva and possibly Aldia in DS3 also supports the fact that while DS1 happend in relatively "ancient" times, DS2 was much more recent, and the cycles themselves were becoming shorter and shorter due to the weakening of the first flame, so having an old, faded portrait of an old monarch, remember, Nashandra basically took over Drangleic and pretty much erased all traces of Vendrick, that played an important role in history doesn't sound strange.
All the more, there were theories about the arranged marriage of Gwynevere being Flann, the lord of flame, from Heide, which is part of Drangleic, through even by DS2 timeline the place has been deserted and mostly sunk, and then later on she apparently moved to Lothric and married Oceiros. Her being a goddess made it possible for her to live through many cycles of the first flame, and that allowed for Gwyn's royal lineage to have ties with Drangleic.

Dusk was MADE for BIG ABYSS COCK

What he said was what actually happened though and they say it in game.

DS2haters are seething on this post

uh uuuuh time is convoluted shut up

Where yt wymyn at ah??

I do know that Oceiros started looking into Seath's research in order to become immortal and became mad because of it like everyone else that does it, like Big Hat Logan and the duke of Tseldora.
But Aldia's role in DS3 was being the unnamed "scholar" that teached sorcery and soul arts to prince Lothric and also redpilled him in how the first flame works. He is never directly referenced but by process of elimination there couldn't be many entities long lived enough and knowledgeable enough to play that role.

This just confirms that Elden Ring is Dark Souls 2 2 and the lands between are built on the ruins of Drangleic

but this is a dark souls 3 thread
