this guy's theme wasn't that good

No girl can eat as much garbage as she does and stay thin.

I can't believe AA is dead...

it doesn't even go anywhere. how does she do it?

Attached: ema4.png (653x1018, 751.24K)

I liked her in rise from the ashes but she was a retard in apollo justice. did they do something else with her in later games

im struggling to remember
she might not have been in dual destinies at all, i dont remember, but she basically replaces Dick Gumshoe in Spirit of Justice
also she's in the AA1 and 2

She needs to come back

Where the fuck is AA7?
It was leaked at the same time along with DGS and Trilogy 2.
And only one of those things came true still.
I just want them to finish the series with a bang and maybe do something new with a different cast.

She got her preferred job in SoJ and became friendly but not the standard genki girl. Going from Maya to annoyed detective then to less annoying science lady is more growth than Phoenix, who finally starts feeling his brain injuries in DD, and the rest of the characters that Capcom didn't change at all

She's basically the same as Gumshoe, incompetent and retarded as usual.

>also she's in the AA1 and 2
fuck im tired
i meant, she's also in AAI1 and 2

They did Gumshoe dirty in AAI1. He's such a whipping boy in that game

she got downgraded from main protag of Investigations to a 30-sec cameo because they thought people liked Edgeworth more. They were right, but it shows because the smuggling ring shit is so uninspired

It's been 9 years since fucking rebooted this shit AA5.
It's been only 6 years between AA4 and AA5, and only 5 years for me, since I played the series in 2008.
Why the fuck then does the gap between 5 and 6 feel so wide, and yet I remember being mad at AA5 for being shit like it was 3 years ago?
God time is scary when you get older, I can't live like this.

ok keep us posted

you played tgaa? best the series has been in a long time

Almost finished DGS1 and stopped during case 5. Planning to go back replay and finish both soon.

characters like this coming back later as adults is always kino

>"I want to be a scientific detective!"
>"I'm in training to become a scientific detective!"
>"I didn't become a scientific detective."
>"I'm a scientific detective!"

I mean, I guess?

DGS was a flop so they cancelled it. Them's the breaks.

It sold half a million copies, that's pretty good for essentially a rerelease

it's fucking shakespeare compared to
"You just presented badge, you are going to lose subscriber" into
"I am dumber than I have ever been" and backstory boy

nah, lifetime projected sales were 300k according to capcom leaks, and it's sold 500k

The best development is obviously Edgeworth between AA1 and AA3.
Much, much better than what you'd except out of a typical anime game, and it's actually gradual, which makes it feel more realistic and earned.
I am not even the biggest Edgeworth cocksucker, but nothing really comes even close.

If Apollo Justice wasn't fucked over and got his trilogy, would they make her his assistant or no?

no she still would get mogged by trucy

I didn't like how they tried to whitewash him and how he came back with a gigantic truthpill later. The in-narrative dicksucking was most obvious in AAI, since even his younger self was apparently a good dude in those games, but it shows in stuff like RFTA too.

Yeah he definitely lost his AA1 edge with time, and also became more of pretty boy while he was at it.
Still, he struggle felt emotional and entertaining, although I do wish they didn't try to make him a good guy in every instance simply because he is now an MC in his game.

>They can't ever have Phoenix get married because of this franchise's fujo fanbase

Attached: LARGE_amounts_of_meh.jpg (750x489, 33.63K)

I think his 1-4 stuff was the best emotional beat in the series for sure, was never too invested in Fey stuff. Still, it set up a redemption arc that happened offscreen and undersold itself

6-2 is essentially AJ2.
Also AA6 is very good and underrated. AA5 is the worst in the series, though.

at least Ryunosuke had a kid, almost 100% with Susato

Attached: susato_pose.png (2076x1321, 3.19M)

Poor guy. Susato is an annoying cunt. A typical negative woman stereotype.

>that time people were telling with me that Ryunosuke was gay. Not bisexual either - gay

He's already a near trashbag tier in AA1 and 2. I don't expect much from him anyway. People like him just means easy to get info and more work for competent ones.

Forensics != detective
Dumbass

The timeline split is at GAA. In the Japanese timeline, Ryunosuke got with worst girl Susato. In the American timeline, Ryunosuke got with best girl Gina.

I guess shipping doesn't have to make sense, but how do they think Phoenix happened? Did Ryunosuke adopt a kid or make one just to get it over with?

Based.

Attached: gina1.jpg (850x967, 176.33K)

Poor Susato. She has to babysit the equivalent of a wimpy self insert for haremkeks/VNniggers.

BIG

I was inclined to agree wiith you, even though I still hate Susato, but I can't really remember him being wimpy except for maybe the very beginning.

idk, this was pretty based

Attached: enemy.jpg (540x304, 52.44K)

reminder that Krekkov said he was going to make more big tit DGS but never did

He got his development and his moments but he still acts like a wimp with his reactions during trials. I can't see how some "people" can claim Susato being Sue-ish while Naruhodo is more pitiful and obviously appeals to shitbrains that like vn and harem. If anything Susato is the only good partner option to improve such a guy.

we unironically should have had more Ryutaro

Attached: ryutaro.jpg (500x606, 45.4K)

That's just how AA is in general, you have to be a retard at the stand even if it doesn't make sense at all, such is older Phoenix.
It's more like a separate self-insert mode than anything that truly reflects the character.

It still feels weird for people to call Phoenix the Turnabout King and then have him panic whenever anything unexpected happens, like he didn't give prosecutors panic attacks in his prime and didn't plot for 7 years. They really should have adapted his changes back into his character

I disagree. Phoenix can have retarded moments but he has experience and bluff power that comes with his years of being a lawyer. I know Naruhodo has zero training and is younger so being a wimp makes sense for him, it still doesn't change that he's a wimp until he has his motivations and evidences for the trials. And Susato doesn't steal any of his moments, so this meme of her being sue-ish comes out of the left field. It's like retards that don't play the games try to roleplay a dumb parrot.

I'm replaying AA6 right now, and it's really middle of the road stuff. 6-1 is the longest intro case ever, and it drags like crazy establishing all of the "lawyers are evil" crap. But then they pad the rest of the game with the same plot point practically every time the prosecution responds. I understand it's the overarching theme of the game, but it's literally every single time. Half of the court dialogs are:
>Here's my evidence proving X
>My word, you're absolutely right! What say you, prosecutor?
>You're just a filthy lying lawyer, time to let it go
>Gallery screams in unison to hang the lawyer, Judge forgets what he's just heard presented
>Oh no, I'm going to lose the case, noooooo
>Hold it!
>Hey, remember thing?
>Oh yeah, thing
>New testimony and repeat.
It's tiresome as fuck. I'd almost rather play 4-3.

we should have seen his jaded personality in 4 continue over to him getting his badge back. get rid of his rookie personality, its been 10 years since he was a rookie.

The prosecutor is the worst part about AA6, I agree. I'd rather have fucking Klavier.

100%. He was always internally snarky, just have more of that play out externally. I think he could be good as a Diego-esque role where he mentors and shittalks at the same time.

honestly, yeah. id say it would be okay if you give him like, one or two cases, but he should not have been acting like a rookie. have him live up to his nick name and make the prosecutor panic every once in a while.

6-1 prosecutor's game is bad because it's a tutorial. The real prosecutor rival is more capable. He considers alternatives to counter the baseless claims of the defense and nitpicks the right things. I like the guy as much as Godot. Godot is just fun to be around and him demanding to see the proofs makes the trials go faster. Klavier and barok can go into the trash can.

I think people's main problem with him is his holier-than-thou shit, not his comptence. The redemption arc that they tried to shoehorn in for most of the prosecutors only fixed half the issues, being the "I think all DAs should die" bit that he was coerced into anyways, but didn't do anything for the bit that people actually disliked him for.

Legs.

cont.
6-2 is OK. It gets points for taking 4-3's gimmick (the video) and making it fun to figure out, but I feel like the culprit buckles too easily. Too much was established out of convenience and I would have taken a second day of investigation over the entirety of 6-4.
6-3 is also just OK. The resolution feels like a bit of a cop out for me. Everything I dislike about this case is the constant repetition of the Lawyers are Evil thread.
6-4 is my contender for worst AA case of all time. I'm serious, worse than Big Top or Serenade. Athena is constantly shit on for being inexperienced as if the writers completely forgot her involvement in DD, particularly 5-3. Simon constantly bails her out, and she basically comes to no conclusions of her own. Every character is awful, and while having a witness with multiple personalities is unique for the series, it fails to really be interesting. Any case that includes a dying message spelling the killers name is a red flag, and the soup stained cards in this case are clearly out of order from the moment it's presented, but they make you slog through other inconsistencies before you are allowed to point out the obvious. The motive and resolution are also pants on head retarded. At least in Big Top we had a tragic tale to back it up, in this we have petty jealous and the goofiest murderer in the series. I admit that there must have been alot that was lost in translation, probably tons and tons of cultural touchstones and puns from Rakugo in the original game, but even if that's true, this case still doesn't work in english. I hate 6-4 so goddamn much.

I bet those "people" also like barok even though he is much more insufferable and incompetent while having an equally shitty backstory. Seriously, even smart detectives like Philo Vance lost popularity when people got fed up with his pompous and insufferable attitude.

>tfw she'll never let you cream her and then goes kn to scoop out the cum and smear it onto an example panel to look at it under a microscope to see how strong your sperm is for breeding

I think most people probably like Barok for the broody, Byronic vibes and have a better impression of him from the start, despite having a half-baked resolution to his shittery also. He doesn't exactly have a good reason to dislike the protags either, but it's a bit less outlandish than vague SE Asia man hating attorneys forever

very surprised no one's drawn her with condoms in her bag instead of tubes. then again no one draws girls from this series either

Both reasons are comical to me, one is hating as a front and one is shifting the blame because he is too much of a bitch to act like a man and a professional.

I do think the games should have definitely emphasized that he was being stupid and irrational. The protags go out of their way to mention that he's being racist and wonder why, then they throw him a bone because apparently having a "good reason" is worth all the dickery. His guilt, feelings etc. could be expanded on in a sequel if they ever do one

I don't want to waste my hopium for a third entry of dgs, knowing that fujos will taint it anyway. Just making a refreshing start with AA7 and Athena as the main, more well written cases and interesting cast are good enough for me.
