In my honest opinion, Final Fantasy 15 represents exactly everything a great Final Fantasy game needs to be today. Epic, exciting, beautiful and fun to play. All great qualities of this amazing and beautiful game.
I can easily consider it a masterpiece, especially after playing all the mainline games in the Final Fantasy saga. I loved this FF15.
Actually, I think that Final Fantasy 15 has one of the best endings ever made, imho
Thomas James
Barry thread. No one is this retarded about this game other than him.
Jose Lee
Easily the most underrated Final Fantasy game, for sure. And actually pretty awesome
Logan Evans
Definitely not a masterpiece but definitely better than many give it credit for, XIV and VII Remake are vastly superior games. XV had a pretty fun open world and sidequests though, I still love the main cast in that game
Dylan Long
Huge improvement over 12 and 13. Ardyn is probably the best villain in the series since Kefka.
Brayden Sanders
I've also loved the FF15 cast very much. They are truly charismatic, and well designed, and when you get to know them better, you notice how carefully they have been made.

An excellent brotherhood
Jack Garcia
Should i replay this or xenoblade 2?
Tyler Perry
I think that FF15 is a better choice, imho
Luke Harris
This game is awful and you will never be white Barry
Leo Ramirez
Ardyn is truly a wonderful and amazing Villain, indeed
Joseph Watson
I wouldn't go this far, but it's definitely underrated. One of the best open world games I've played, and I only played it at launch, so I never tried the DLCs, improved Insomnia or the playable party. What did you like listening to while driving around?
Elijah Young
The FF7 and NieR musics.
Jayden Sanchez
The most underrated final fantasy is 8 or 12. The worst is 13 or 15.
Carson Hill
The worst Final Fantasy game is FF13 and FF2, dude
The Kingsglaive Soundtrack is cool to ear on the road
Liam Young
Xc2 has more soul
Hudson Butler
Eh. The game is ok. But after Leviathan it goes to shit.
Jackson Davis
The Leviathan fight vs Titan is KINO
Liam Diaz
Barry has to be samefagging this entire thread. There's no way people here would consider FF15 anywhere near the top FF games especially with how much of a fucking mess it was at launch. It still feels like an unfinished game this many years later with DLC and all.
12 was pretty much unplayable on the ps2, it's still not great even with the remaster.
Hunter Bailey
Indeed
Final Fantasy XV is highly underrated. Since it is one of the best Final Fantasy
Brayden Price
>They hated Jesus, for he told them the truth.
OP is spreading FACTS
Alexander Flores
world is good driving or being driven around is good combat is beyond abysmal and this drags down the questing as well, naturally
so on the whole it's like, OK as a hangout game but it clearly believes it has gameplay when it really doesn't. i seriously wouldn't have a problem with that if the game were just more honest about what it was
Matthew Sullivan
>and fun to play.
this is fun? It turned me off from giving this game a second chance
FF15 is literally the most corporate and focused tested FF to date. Tabata toned down anything too edgy from the original concept and simplified all aspects of the gameplay just so it could be massively appealing to the most braindead normie. To add to that there's a lot of in-game advertisements from real brands from the camp set to the clothes, cup noodle american express. finalfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Product_placement It's quite fucking soulless
I could say the same thing about your taste, dude. You can clearly disagree with my own opinion. But from disagree to trash on it there's a lot of difference..
Final Fantasy XV is the Final Fantasy game that gives me hope for the future of the franchise
Thomas Edwards
>muh original vision Don't care. >simplified gameplay to appeal to braindead normies Are you seriously saying this right after defending a Nomura directed game? And don't get me wrong, KH II's gameplay shits all over XV, you won't get any opposition from me on that, but play it on anything but Critical and you just mash X to win. Braindead normies love that shit, they'll buy it just to watch Let It Go UE4 Edition. The whole fucking series is advertisement/product placement. I like the clothing collaborations, just as I liked the Roen designs Nomura had done, and I enjoyed the writing related to the cup noodles shit, they allowed the writers to have some fun with it since they were being forced to include it in the game. The rest are just stupid, agreed.
is this a thread where I'm allowed to say nice things about this game?
Grayson Morgan
Yes
Final Fantasy XV has soul
Landon Gray
>battles vs Cerberus, Ifrit, The Kings of Lucis
shame it's DLC locked
Christopher Sullivan
I've gladly played the Royal Edition of Final Fantasy XV.
And I'm enjoyed a lot
Cooper Green
Somewhere in an alternate universe, a complete finished product of FFXV exists and it's one of the best games ever. It's a travesty worse than Xenogears of untapped potential because Square ran out of time for the game being in development hell for a decade.
Isaac Howard
Okay good. I recently started another playthrough and I totally forgot how comfy it is. Prompto taking random pictures throughout the day that you get to see at the the campsites before bed is so soulful
Levi Murphy
Actually, from my point of view, Final Fantasy 15 Royal Edition is already the complete edition of the game. And FF15 is definitely a great game, imho
It's a huge and fun game to play. And if you want more, you can also play Episode Ardyn, if you wish.
Isaiah Wilson
I still wish we got Luna's episode. That's gotta be the biggest let down
Aaron Cruz
The moment you get on that boat and the open world segment ends, the game's quality goes to shit. They knew this, giving you some dumb magic dog that can send you back in time to the good part of the game. Had the game been actually completed, the second half would have had its own open world to explore and expand the lore and story. What you have now is a rushjob until the final area, which I admit is my favorite part of the game.
Alexander Hill
I played it recently and enjoyed it, though it's pretty clearly unfinished. You get railroaded way to hard at the end, and it seems like a completely different game. I also liked comrades, which was a surprise.
Prompto's photos are one of the coolest features of the game. Sometimes funny and sometimes extremely cool
Christopher Torres
I love the way it incorporates the pictures and cooking as part of the gameplay loop through camping, and then at specific spots you get some nice camping quests from the party, makes for some cute character bonding moments. Not to mention the ways they use those mechanics to enhance story moments in the end game. Phenomenal stuff. youtube.com/watch?v=GpN1Ez62w3A One of the comfiest games I've played. Up there with P4 in that regard.
I literally just downloaded royal edition yesterday since its free on psplus, might have to take the plunge and actually play. I wanna have a comfy adventure again after ERs dickwrenching adventure.
The amount of excuses is so baffling you might as well say you just like eating shit. FFXV was focus tested corporate garbage released unfinished and with enough cut content to build 2 games out of. There's literally no excuse to defend the garbage they released day one. To this day the best you can say is that it isn't as shit as it was on release but it's in no way even a "great" game like people here are trying to pretend. At most it's merely "okay" years later after a re-release ,at every other point it was a mess that had to constantly be patched while the main game was filled with boring filler MMO tier quests to hide that they barely had any fucking content in this full priced release. This thread has to be samefagging shit because besides the ONE autist every other thread about this game correctly points out all the fucking shit about this game. That most of the damn trailer were literally lies and unfulfilled promises. This game was pretty much the cyberpunk 2077 of the time with how borderline false advertised it was and how shit the final product was compared to all the hype that surrounded its fucking 10 year wait. Acting like this shit has anything close to be called a soul is the most braindead retarded nigger thing I've ever fucking heard on this board.
I've played the Comrades expansion for more than 120. And it's still awesome the crafting mechanism for the weapons
Thomas Edwards
Then I'm kind of glad they didn't get to complete it. Another open world would probably ruin it, content bloat and shit pacing are the bane of open world games. Ruined far too many good ones. Getting to Skellige was negatively overwhelming, to me. I'd like better dungeons for the linear part of the game, but I love the idea of it being a linear literally on rails path. Just when you get your fill of the open world, do as much as you could have wanted and are ready to move on with the main quest, you get to visit actually new unique locations that are fully main story focused. That felt really cool to me, no new huge map full of filler crap to do all over again, no revisiting the same places I've already been to in side content fighting the same shit, actual new content. Feeling like I've had enough side content and wanting to move on with the story, only to find the exact same crap I've grown tired of is the number one reason why I drop open world games so often.
Noah Edwards
Should I play this or FF6 pixel remaster?
Bentley Bell
Amazing Prompto's photo here
Yeah Final Fantasy 15 has one of the best soundtrack of the whole franchise
Nice buzzwords, retard. Any actual opinions on the game that can't be summarized with "you're not allowed to disagree with my regurgitated crap from 2016"? Try thinking for yourself for once in your life.
Parker Wood
Depends on you. If you wish to play something more action jrpg and moder, then choose FF15. Otherwise, if you are looking for something of more classic (turn based), then you can go with FF6.
They are both great Final Fantasy games
Leo Ortiz
I liked FFXV but it had some of the worst side quests of any RPG. There are a few good ones, Deadeye, the optional dungeons, but most are fetch quests that are super boring. Like where you literally go buy beans.
Eli Campbell
FF6 is the better game, but they're very different, just go with whatever seems more appealing to you at the moment.
