Goddamn it, Splash Damage.
Pretty much my entire collection
it was a flawed game but it was also amazing
I knew an Anglo youtube moderator who blew tens of thousands on that game back in the day.
people still play it
is the combat more or less cancerous than it was 10 years ago?
Fuk I played a ton of this and completely forgot about it.
I'm still mad.
dirty bomb was fun tho and objectively a better game.
Its a wave of ups and downs. Im not sure which era youre reffering to as 10 years ago. But there was a time from launch to when they released the "nano" which was godlike. then nano until they sold to another company was cancer. Then short kino. Back to cancer p2w. Now were on an uptick .
fuck don't remind me
this game was the beginning of my disappointment and pessimism in video games lol. it was like dominoes after that
Post the ice cream one
i remember at launch the perks were pretty lame, specifically the 'do more damage' weapon perk. honestly the worst parts of the game i remember was the dumb bullshit people would do like pirouette in the air while shooting a shotgun. the game's gun balance was always pretty shit. the tazer shotgun early on was complete and utter bullshit.
>Had an interesting idea for a setting.
>Squander it completely with total shit gameplay.
I'm still mad.
*laugh track*
>the genre defining xbox one star launch title
im still keking to this day
What's his name again?
All facts. Shooting from cars was always janky. Balance went thru some wild times especially with the HVR, the non lethals, the SAW and everyones favorite. Grenades.
Hackers paradise
def less
Oh ya, that didn't happen
ye i always hated how having a durable car didn't matter because the sheer DPS of three people shooting at you from the car behind would always mean you died in about 10 seconds. they really should have made it so shooting the back of a car does greatly reduced damage.
I actually liked it though.
Have to give them a little credit for going back and fixing it at least I guess.
thats why you just ram raid a car load of shit, then mug people outside the fence so once you hit 5 stars you can drop off the loot immediately.

It doesn't matter
>kills silicon knights in your path.
remember reading the review for that in GFWL magazine, which was surprisingly good (the magazine not the game).
this looked like a lot of fun
>you now remember this was marketed as a "Halo Killerâ„¢" and competed directly with Halo 3
Lmao.
I have a Sunset Overdrive Edition Xbox One, it has served me well. The game was cool enough, haven't thought about it much since 2014.
FUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
It is, for the first 5 hours or so.
What could've been...
>another "Halo Killerâ„¢"
The late 00s were fucking hilarious sometimes.
is it as bad as they say?
If this came out today, it would have been written off as being another game trying to imitate the same Fortnite style like a lot of other DOA games. Pretty fun game, though.
I got into it a while after release so I didn't have to deal with whatever launch issues it had. But I thought Brink was actually pretty fun.
...
fuck, forgot to put an image
>"Halo killers"
>"CoD killers"
>"WoW killers"
2000s had an obsession with trying to topple the top dog
I blame Sega's Genesis commercials in the 90s for starting this trend
seems the title didn't do its job
Durable cars was the meta for the longest time up until a recent-ish rebalance that tanked their HP.
Oh ya tha ga threa
