I got mine by signing up to sonys post email. It took a few months but when they did finally respond back I was put in a que that seemed to just about guarentee it as long as you pay attention and don't miss your wife. If you somehow don't get it you just get pushed further up the wait list and will get it next que.

The fact is there isn't THAT much demand for the PS5 snoytard. If there was a demand of literally 10x the supply then Sony would have no issues increasing the price to get more units or being able to order enough chips that per unit cost goes down.
As it stands demand is just above supply, but nothing to make up for how bad the PS5 is doing.
