Why are the people who like Digimon all weirdos?

I'm not saying it to troll, it's just that everyone I've ever met who liked Digimon was very strange. Like the kid who always has a booger running down his nose.

That being said, Digimon is pretty cool, I could just never stick with it.

This. It gets the virtual pet origins of Digimon down really well and is just a bit different to your every day turn based RPG.
Cyber Sleuth was ok but there's so many turn based RPGs out there it doesn't really stand out.

World 1 is awesome if you're looking for some monster raising RPG fun.

World 2 is awesome if you like dungeon crawling RPGs with grid based dungeon layouts similar to a Mystery Dungeon game.

World 3 isn't bad if you wanted a Digimon game that is more standard JRPG fare.

World 4 isn't particularly well received as is nothing like the others. You'll probably hate it unless you love Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. Highly recommend playing in co-op for the best possible experience.

The Cyber Sleuth games made me want to kill myself.

By far the best one, I really wish they stuck to this style instead of going generic anime.

Because not many people make it very obvious they are into Digimon so you end up just seeing the weirdos. With much less actually good content to get into there isn't much to hype up about, at least Survive finally is coming out and is hopefully at least decent. I love Digimon to bits but I never get to talk about it so barely anyone knows I like it.

Understandable. I remember watching it when both it and the Pokemon anime both aired, though I ended up liking Frontier the most, though I know that's a very unpopular opinion.

It was more like organ harvesting.
It also had a quest about a bullied student planning a forced mass-suicide of his classmates via mind control, and a tortured digital weapon experimented on by an unnamed government just killing itself to escape it all, among other things.

That was one of the best plot twists I've ever experienced.

I hated Digimon Tri.
Went to the movies with a friend to watch Last Evolution Kizuna and I actually had a good time. The animation was sub-par and the designs were the same Tri garbage, but the message/point of the story spoke to me so I really liked it in the end.

Digimon went to shit long ago with its #metoo bullshit. Digicores are basically the spark from transformers, digita armor was very clearly referencing ronin warriors and Gundam, the Olympus XII was literally just Greek shit for the sake of Greek shit the animes are garbage

Because the lore in the shows was slapped together and it changes from iteration to iteration. Whether it's the shows or the games they all have whacko rules that make no sense.
