Americans can easily afford to pay 1200 bucks a year extra, that they saved on paying lower taxes compared to other developed countries. When you make 70k and pay 10k in taxes you have 60k a year to pay rent, food, healthcare and internet even if they're overcharging you. You can also pay off your student loans easily.

In europe you'd pay 25k in taxes and only have 45k but you don't have to pay for healthcare, internet is cheaper and your education was free.

most of them. but usually its just a different plan. pretty much every isp in aus (illusion of choice) will have unlimited data options and capped data options with different prices and shit like that, also mobile data all have caps, i have never seen (i dont shop around because i have a great plan so it could exist i just havent seen it) a mobile data plan that was unlimited.
