Nothing wrong with twinks, and to each their own. I got 30 hours out of it by doing 2 different runs. Dwarves are cute too.

there is only one default tiddy in the game atm and that's the one

~20 hours if you don't do most side content and different classes and races have unqiue dialogue stuff so there's a good amount of replayability.
It's also very unfinished so it'll feel anticlimactic no matter what you do

Halflings are weirdly proportioned IMO. Heads too large. Dwarf women are where it's at if you want a shortstack in this game.

I have to say. I usually don't care when males play as females in vidya but in the case of Baldurs Gate and how intimate you are with your BG3 character, you truly do have to be a bit of a weirdo to connect with your female character.

Unfortunate trend that I have no idea how it started, up to DnD 3rd edition halflings were properly proportioned, but for some time they became very gnome looking, particularly in games.

Not any more than any other CRPG, I think. Not even getting into the fact that we only have part of act 1 so far, I consider myself more "intimately" connected with a character like Torment's TNO than with the BG3 PC, specially considering there'll be the option of just playing an origin character in the final game.

You know, I did that in OS2 because I felt like the origin characters had a closer stake to the plot (and then there's the fact that unless you're playing an origin character, you literally lose half of them at the end of act 1), but I don't think I will in BG3.
So far all the companion characters in BG3 are ones I want to interact with, not play as.

True, it felt like you had to play an Origin character in Divinity because you had a max party of 4. Least in BG you can have all the companions.

I awlays do so I'm going to main halflings in most of my playthroughs, I only hope I can romance other characters this time, BG and BGII were quite racist towards tiny ones in this aspect

You're out of luck, they've been confirmed some time ago and there's even one already in the game.
Honestly, I don't much like it either, I think the only game with sex scenes that I actually like to watch and feel like they're both sensual and character-driven are the ones in Cyberpunk.
But it's good exercise to wonder how they'll work for a halfling PC.
