I understand that there's no Western release yet, but considering the fact that multiple pieces of pre-release material have shown censored content and that they've made no attempt to address the matter I don't really understand why you think there'd be any possibility of them reverting the censorship before it's released, or as an update. That seems like optimism to the point of delusions or a desire to be overly pedantic.

I 1cc'd the game as the op weasel furry girl. Her and the Samurai (female) obliterate everything in the game. Really fun! Story mode is unironically harder because you are using different characters every stage.

I find that fucking Egyptian boss in the burning town really hard and the stage 2 river section always seems to fuck me up.

What might help you out op is that there are hidden invisible bombs and lives on the game that can only be revealed with your melee.

In stage 1 there's an extra bomb after the midboss in the stone circle, and on stage 2 there's a hidden 1up in the ruined house where the first midboss spawns. Stage 2 has a few hidden paths that lead to items and shops (like that white snake; there's a false wall). Red weapons are also the most powerful against bosses.

I honestly think stage 2 is harder than the next two stages so don't feel discouraged

The tiddy goddess is also pretty op, it seems like everyone but Pocky and Rocky were super powered for us scrubs.

After stage 2 you should be using your shield charge frequently and attack mirrors are good for bosses and enemies when you are powered down.
