It wasn't I can assure you. The history of the game is very messy and confusing. We're still not sure what happened. It was supposed to come out in 2020 (pic related), but got delayed several times. This was mostly due to COVID and Steel Wool making the game a much bigger project than initially planned for. The later is one of the reasons the game came out as rushed as it did though.
