i have a theory that figuring out how to keep horsefart alive will be through the checkpointed fight and it'll be some shit that's actually somehow intuitive enough that you can't get it by accident/can't get the bad end as long as you're going for it, and then going on the "good route" has no checkpoints on its own

the lead developer is a big fan of tricking players into doing mechanic wrongs. You need to be able to heal haurcefant in phase 1 or use a lb2 to heal him.
