Haven't played the Spyro remasters yet, only the Crash Bandicoot ones.

Not until someone makes a fat dick and balls for all male characters mod

I got all 3 + crash + calloduty + shenmue for $15 in a humble bundle a year or 2 ago.

Absolutely, even though some of the art direction is off in some areas the PC version is uncapped on the framerate and the game itself is quite pretty. Be warned though that each game is maybe around 10-15 hours to 100% if you're brand new. If you know the games already then cut that down almost in half.

Tapering penis and slit. External balls on a reptile is mega gay.

They're fairly nice low stress collectathon platformers. Very entertaining, just don't expect anything remotely challenging.

They’re too big to fit in there

I played it and it's really fun.
My only problem is the second and third games arent that good

>PC version is uncapped on the framerate
Did they fix the glitch in Alpine Ridge that made it impossible to complete if you played it at higher than 60 FPS?

if you're looking to buy a game on pc just pirate it and figure out if its worth the money for yourself like the rest of us

I remember buying the spyro + crash remaster bundle for 25 on steam and yes, that was definitly worth it imo
Crash can be a bit frustrating but Spyro is pure fun and relax (and despite what Yea Forumsniggers say the unreal engine gives a real "warm" feeling to the game).

kys faggot you're on the wrong board

Some of the jump puzzles in 1 and some of the timed minigames in 2&3 can get pretty hairy. But yeah most of it is pretty straightforward.

Try playing with original soundtrack on, new stuff is pretty meh even if the dynamics are ok

I pirated it and enjoyed the game. Didn't buy it still.
This.

You can get it for cheaper on CDKeys.
This game is worth 15usd at best.

25 sounds too steep for few year old game. especially since it's remake and not new game

It's awesome, great games, really chill. Somehow I prefered the first one but the others were good as well.

Emulation is free.

Just become Argentinian and get it for less than 5 bucks.

I will never not be jealous of those monkeys having the privilege of spending less money for the games WE make

You know videogames are free, right?

I played through all 3 and loved it. Tons of content and really fun games. Definitely worth it IMO.

spyro 1 remake is pretty good despite some questionable design changes. the spyro 2 remake is alright but the spyro 3 remake isn't great.

nope, still gotta set it to 60. i couldnt figure out why i couldnt make this jump for a while too because i knew how to do it since i played this on ps1 numerous times, had to google this shit, god that annoyed the fuck out of me

the game gets really glitchy at uncapped framerates

They're pretty good remakes, in terms of graphical fidelity they are really good looking better than the crash ones by a long shot. The remixed music is hit and miss but thankfully you can swap back to the old ost if there's a track you don't like.
My only negatives are the voice acting being a step down from the originals, particularly Hunter and Elora, and that some of the redesigns are ugly as fuck. The sound effects are also pretty weak compared to the original and there's some weird censorship like the guns being turned into splatoon guns (spyro 1) and weird slingshot (spyro 2) along with some other weird dialog stuff like giving Juliet a female voice which completely kills the joke of that section.
Overall it's solid, $25 is an alright price for them

Attached: yuck.jpg (569x305, 34.21K)

>splatoon guns
>devs said they thought the real guns clashed with Spyro's aesthetic so they made the choice to make ink guns
It's not even censorship, they were stupid enough to miss the entire point of the final world.

Are there any level mods or something for replayability? (not the funbags)

make sure to disable dynamic music if you do play it, all it does is make the music more subdued unless action is happening

Mods are all
>titty mods
>recolors
>model swap
>occasional good stuff like porting the ps1 sfx or removing the awful water filter

Pretty sure there's a good bunch of mods that change aesthetics, not so sure on gameplay.

damn. no mods like sonic fans

They also allowed kenny to completely ruin the parappa reference with his delivery too

There's one person very slowly trying to port the enter the dragonfly levels into reignited if thats your kind of thing

What a terrible addition. I switched almost immediately

well, i did have a soft spot for the spyro 4, sorta

uoooohh wide hips thick thighs boy dragon sex!

youtube.com/watch?v=kvz_XvN8bz8
here's what they sound like

Did they ever fix the issue where playing the game at over 60 FPS would make Spyro slide around and make the game unplayable

Post the tracks that are as good as or better than the originals

Hey, titty mods are good.

no, the PC version got zero updates

i know but i want to challange myself with some level mods.
better yet, a faun level where you can give them bigg titties and bounce on them like platforms

Pirate it

it’s worth it especially for the subway level

It's an half decent remake, something to keep in mind, switch the framerate down to thirty on any mission that has a timer since it desynchs if you go above 30fps. Also touching the Permanent Super Flame powerup affects ANY Spyro 2 save from that point forward

Is this what I should play if I’ve never played the original trilogy or should I just emulate the originals with enhanced resolution?

>Also touching the Permanent Super Flame powerup affects ANY Spyro 2 save from that point forward
pretty sure this is how it worked in the original game too

youtu.be/Ua740GzpT9g
you can turn the super flame off in the options

Gameplay-wise, they're almost exactly the same. Although the remake has massively improved controls on the Agent 9 levels in Spyro 3.

Outside of that, it's whether you prefer blocky "soul" PS1 graphics or fully fleshed out high-res PS4 graphics.

if you've never played them before then definitely the originals

Thanks anons. Got the game for $14 thanks to kinguin.
Gonna get nostalgic over another part of my childhood.

Kinda sort of, it's supposed to enable it for while the game's running. Not permanently, so you can actually just play spyro 2 normally again
Oh, no way, really?

now that I think about it, it might be a cheat code you have to input instead of being in the options, but there's definitely a way to turn it off permanently and re-enable it

>Absolutely enjoying 3 again and 100%ing worlds as I got with a few backtracking
>St. Byrd
Lord fucking kill me. That music loop makes me want to die and he slows the game a fucking crawl. I totally forgot about him and thought we went straight to Bently. I'm onto Evening Gardens I wonder how much of the old stuff that used to give me grief will do or not. I ended up really struggling with skateboarding but remember destroying it as a kid.

>not liking Sgt Byrds theme

It's pretty obvious they only cared about Spyro 1. That was the one that fits the most in their headcannon of what the world of Spyro is and it shows in that one is the one with the most effort.

The other two they got lazy and did not give an iota of a shit about the art direction and just threw whatever they could at the wall.

It's the fucking 4 odd note tooting in the middle that is burned into my skull and won't leave. Not after I just spent 15 minutes looking for a bone.
It's made me a little sad because 3 I had the fondness memories of the sub worlds themselves but they feel like just 1:1 remakes. Whereas as 1 was closer to me as kid thinking how cool the dragons were.
I'm not too bothered because 1 still feels like the perfect length to me to be worth going the extra mile with art direction with.

i always hated the weird stereo in the original one
youtube.com/watch?v=DYqQLB2TA14

yeah, that's not a bad price. don't forget to mod it.

One of the best remakes of all time alongside FFVII and Resident Evil 2.

Toys for Bob took the creative vision of Insomniac and made it even better with today's technology.

I would pay 60 dollars if I was you, way better than that crap Crash got before the only and best studio fixed that franchise's uncanny look.

You cannot wait for the fourth game...

I don't think the concept art was too bad desu. That's the case for a lot of the shittier redesigns imo, notably Elora.

>You cannot wait for the fourth game..
I would ALMOST forgive microsoft for their decades of faggotry if they did the smart thing and un-shitted Wrath of Cortex and Enter the Dragonfly and sold it as a combo.

I'm honestly kinda surprised they didn't just remaster EtD as a $10 DLC expansion, it's already probably less than half the length of any of the PSX games.
