Tendie seethe thread

ray romano is unironically fucking garbage

Aquaplus is now the last holdout absolutely refusing to put games on Switch.

Didn't Persona 5 outsell SMTV?

>jrpg
nothing of value was lost

Goddamn, we want SRPG Aquaplus, this is a downgrade, I don't like 4 niggers in a row genre.

Why can't they at least implement good graphics to use as their fanboy excuse.

Good thing this is not underwater ray romano

It's not common but JRPGs can skip the platform and work provided at least Steam PC gets a port and it has localization Day 1. Whatever money put in in to achieve those two things can be recouped as long as you aren't as dumb with finances as Sqaure Enix.

it's gonna flop because it looks like garbage

>On Steam
Nope, it's not gonna flop, if it's not shit that is.
There will be an English release, right?

Actually looks worse than Zan 1

Arise character models are dogshit, easily the worst ones of the franchise in recent times

Soul Hackers 2 in August
Whatever this is in September
New Nation in Genshin also in September

. . . . jrpg fans on playstation, the drought is almost over and we'll be eating good again

Holy fucking shit, what's with all the shouting? Just constant screaming without actually showing whatever it is they're so upset about

>steam
>carrying JRPG sales
user, selling 10k at $10 is not impressive.

It's some weird jap trope

Uooohhhhh

Wrong.

The Utawarerumono team really struggles with 3D animations to the point their new full-fledged 3D "next-gen" game ventures into uncanny valley territory, between the stiff as hell characters and abrupt actions. They were doing fine before with the 3D chibi and their focus on just 2d art in general.

Elden Ring sold millions on Steam.
Tales of Arise sold at least 500K on Steam.

Scarlet Nexus just hits 1 million as well

What games have the devs made before?

What the fuck is wrong with their animations

Wait, holy shit, it's on Steam.

That's nice but it's not a SRPG.

Tales of arise was fucking shit i have no idea why people like it that much.
Is it just marketing?
Even scarlet nexus had some potential.

Generic overdesigned otaku/weeb bait.

I think it's OK, Scarlet Nexus is way better tho.

>PS5/PS4
Really worth it to buy a PS5 lmao

is this another Utawarerumono or a brand new IP?

It's a new IP based on the universe.

Did yamauchi rape some aquaplus family members or something?

oh okay so like a drankengard > nier sort of deal

>Elden ring
>jrpg
Are you kidding

>RPG
>made by Japan
>not a JRPG
Even has anime waifu.

>RPG made in Japan
>not a JRPG
you need to go back

>on pc
it'll do fine if the game isn't shit or some massive jewery, pc is where most people who play jrpgs actually play them these days

don't you know Sekiro and Dark Souls are JRPGs as well?

Keep seething dumbfuck you are coping and 100% wrong lmao

Shiravune is localizing it. Announced for 8th September, Steam only for the English release.

>Steam only in the west
ohnonononononononono Sonybros????????

>There will be an English release, right?
September 8th, same time as the nip release.

>>JRPG
>>Not on switch
So just like Dark Souls 3, Elden Ring, Persona 5?

>this game will 100% flop
Nice cope tendie.

Who cares, he's dead

Arise is an AA PS3-tier game with better resolution and some particle effects.
The only reason it's not on Switch is fanboyism

It's a prequel to Uta2, showing how Oshtor became Oshtor.
Mikazuchi and Munechika were both heavily featured in what we've seen so far as well.

>utawarerumono
>>>>>>>prequel
why. Admittedly the ending of the original trilogy was perfectly concluded but they couldve just dont another "and a 100 years have past" type of continuation or something

ok

>Sony is fucking dead in Japan
>Rufuse to put it on switch and do only PS on japan
>Sony is doing…well, not as bad as Japan on west
>"Steam only"
Aquaplus is fucking retarded

>"and a 100 years have past" type of continuation or something
That's kind of what the, explicitly non-canon, mobage is and it sucks cock.
I'd much rather have a sequel than a story where we pretty much know the end already, but I'll take what I can get

No, like Kuro no Kiseki that bombed so hard the CEO had to denounce Sony in front of his shareholders, promise to work on Switch versions in-house and is now doing Switch giveaways on twitter.

It's not even on playstation. It's like they just give up.

>Arise is an AA PS3-tier game with better resolution and some particle effects.
Which means it's more complex than Deadly Premonition and No More Heroes, two games which run abominably on Switch.

why won't switchfags just switch to a platform that has the game?

>Kuro no Kiseki
that shit bombed because it was a sequel series to an extremely boring anime power fantasy, which itself was drawn out over a decade. even the fans were fucking exhausted of rean's bullshit

why don't devs stop being retarded and put their game onto the only good platform.

>nintenfags so scared of utawwarerumonochads that they delayed xenoblade 3 to not compete
keep seething

Yes, Arise would have to be 720p30 on Switch. Big deal

>book game
>but it's alright because muh glorious nippon

more like 480p with an average of 20fps, you overestimate the shitch
