Yes. Because they lost sight of what made them successful as a company:
Its not artificially creating a successful business situation, its just making the BEST games you possibly can, and then as a secondary effect of that, you'll be successful.

This is a problem with the corporate atmosphere that has leeched into video game culture/companies over the past 10-15 years: The suits in charge view legitimately being a good company as too much trouble (Just make good games, make the customers happy, focus on your product quality), so instead they focus on ARTIFICIALLY rigging the situation to insure profit (Utilizing things like loot boxed and on disc DLC to juice sales, paying off/bribing for good reviews and shilling by sites, ect.)

So long as they simply seek to *imitate* a successful business, they will never return to *being* as successful business, not truly.

I reinstalled a few days ago to claim a loot box that I got from amazon prime and decided to play a few matches
I had to wait 5 fucking minutes in queue for a match.

Mei needs fatter tits. This is non-negotiable.
They need to be gigantic and have some of the best breast physics seen in any game.
They need to be so large that it actually effects her play style. Her default run speed needs to be slower, jumping causes damage to her and she has lowered jump height. Give her an option to sheathe her weapon and grab on to her fat tits to hold them in place while she runs a little faster.
Also her coat needs to have obviously burst open at some point and her tits just hang out. Clothed obviously since that would just be obscene.
Her voice lines also need to reflect this.

In return she should have more health, natural damage resistance, and knockback resistance. If she sprints in to people, they will be knocked about as well - particularly useful if they're frozen and next to an edge.
Finally she should be reclassified as a Support and have the option to lactate in to disposable bottles which she can toss out as medkits to her team, or just drink it herself and heal.

Only then might the game be fun and balanced.

Twitch timers aren't exactly new. But to be honest I had kind of forgotten about Overwatch.
Still wish there was a new Starcraft project, perhaps a space sim or shooter.

Problem with starcraft is they utterly crashed and burned the universe's overall feeling due to the plot wrap up of 2 (And by extension 1) being the biggest of dumpster fires.

The Xel naga plotline with Kerrigan being held up as this super awesome (literal) Goddess who saved the universe is bad fanfic tier and the overall feel of things drifted away from its aliens inspiration to being essentially a WOW fantasy type deal.
(to say nothing of the horrible plot twists like saying the overmind was a good boy all along, never did nuffin, just trying to get his species life back on track)

They'd more or less have to do a "We're not ever talking about 2 again, just some things happened in the past that were bad" setup to move forward with the starcraft universe and rebuild its cast pretty heavily.

The power armor visual is inspired by 40k, but the actual feel and actions of the terrans (Being dumb ass rednecks who go in drinking beer to a mission to clear an alien infestation, and their non-power armor tech's more junkyard feel) is very much aliens.
40k humans are 100% NOTHING in behavior to the terrans, and the Protoss's psychic race is a far, far cry from any of the psychic races in warhammer.

Zerg and tyrannids, sure. But "Rampaging horde of locust aliens" is one of the biggest cliches in existence, so its hard to claim you're ripping off the tyrannids when they're so basic and simplistic as a faction.

A lot more people will be turned on to the game by him promoting it than turned off by his past (and current) toxicity.

I dunno, there are some space trucker motifs, but Terran Battlecruisers are 100% WH40 shit.

I don't see how they really do. 40k tech is about it being stuff that the people using it don't even really understand, to the point those battleships in 40k are often filled with people doing manual labor to load the shells or ammo because they're too dumb to work/build the ammo loaders.
Just being visually similar isn't enough, the thematic feel behind the usage/tech of the ships need to be similar as well. (And the lack of psychic navigation or anything warp related for travel is more than enough IMO to make it divergent)

Moreover, the tech behind the battleships (Being just a shit ton of armor and relying on low tech in copious amounts to try and equal protoss equivilents) is a far cry from 40k's spaceships being outfitted with pretty respectable shielding and other tech: In the golden age, humanity's tech OUTCLASSED the eldar's after all.
By contrast, Humans in starcraft have never been actually really "advanced" compared to the protoss, they just get by by utilizing more "practical" applications of low technology.
