what is miyazaki's problem
What is miyazaki's problem
yeah he should have named it land of cock so you'd be happy because you are faget
Really was an awful part. And so was most of Caelid. Fuck rot.
It was a pretty unpleasant 30 seconds yeah
>equip talisman for 5 faith
>slot flame, cleanse me at the bonfire
What's the problem?
Just use the boluses you fucking tards
Just use your horse so you won't get rotted
He got trapped in a septic tank when he was young and it traumatized him.
Just chug your flasks and sprint the whole way through.
you can't
>Just find the right recipe book somewhere in the giant world
>explorelet
lmaoing @ you
should have been longer
The dragonkin soldier was so utter cancer just because him shuffling and moving around was enough to knock you into the rot even if you brought up those four small platform . It was during that fight, though, when I realized how broken bleed is. It literally trivializes anything hard in ER.
What was the source of the lake? Why is it on that side of the world and not under Caelid?
It's where the god of rot is buried, after being defeated by the blue dancer swordsman who trained Malenia when she was a child.
Your mom lived in japan??
>just expect shitty areas with little engagement and spamming consumables
>i-its not a glorified walking Sim
Difficulty should have quality or it quickly loses its touch and draw upon the player. It should be intuitive, not some bone head "run 500 yards in fungus shit and hit this button a bunch of times"
the rot in caelid was put there, it's not there naturally
Sealed by an ancient hero
It is the essence of the rot god
this place was so annoying till i just speced a little into ARC and used flame cleanse me, can even use talismans to boost ARC and use.
Does the Ayy Lmaoo at the end of it have anything to do with this god
Doubtful, but maybe?
>still hasn't topped valley of defilement in level design, art direction, atmosphere and storytelling
why does he keep trying?
not directly, but that astel was sealed there too after destroying nokron
Pretty crazy v got mad about this. They give you a map immediately and you can just run through instantly
KINO
This area could have had all the best items in the game and I would never know. I went straight for the exit.
>No slight scarlet rot buildup from the residue rot in the air
mikezaki is a hack
OH NOOOO I HAVE TO EQUIP AN EASILY CRAFTABLE ITEM!!!!
It really wasn't that bad, pussy
damn, owned
Goes to show how many people here went straight for the horse. I got portaled to sellia and ran around caelid for my first few hours, before realizing I could travel back as soon as I got out of the cave. The death runs getting shit from the swamp were pretty intense. Lake of rot was a piece of piss after that
This, not sure what everyone is crying about. It is as hard or easy as you like.
where is all that scarlet rot water flowing towards after the grand cloister?
how do you get this to come back down
is it supposed to be period blood?
Ladder to your left I'm pretty sure
>same architecture as nokron/nokstella
the lore...................
>flame, cleanse me
so what's the problem?
More disappointing than Profane Capital.
was pretty weak for the obligatory poison crossing area compared to the other soulsbornekiro games.
Yeah, they're totally parallel. Really cool setting/aesthetic but horribly underutilized with each just amounting to a quick hallway
Unironically yes, it's the Eternal City which "Naturalborn" Astel destroyed.
I just treated it like a diving expedition. Run around and explore until my crimson tears run out, run warp back to start, repeat.
>Just use the boluses you fucking tards
You don't even need them, just use the incantation cleanse me and never worry about it again. You don't even need much faith either, IIRC you only need 12 faith.
still doesnt make it any less lame of an area
They should really buff mushroom set for this place, otherwise the set is totally useless
I found Profane Capital far more disappointing, since it was actually built up to in advance and was supposed to be a major lore location.
You didn't expect to find this ruined "city" at the end of the Lake of Rot, so it was a nice suprise. The only thing disappointing here was the room all the bugmen are worshipping toward is just empty and insignificant, with the real area boss being located after a coffin teleporter, being completely unrelated to the Rot theme of the rest of the zone.
fucking blew my mind when I realized the second generation albinaurics are reskinned bonewheel skeletons
I get the criticism but nothing felt better than finding the clarifying bolus recipe and having all the ingredients to make it.
>using relatively rare preserving boluses when you'll just get re-rotted in 2 seconds
Why? Just tough it out and keep moving.
This area was great
>striking visual design
>cool floor raising mechanic
>dragonkin soldier and alabaster lord with optional arena expansion
yeah if it accumulated less fast in general or wore off faster it would be more tolerable.
creatively bankrupt but also has a consumer base of complete retards who enjoy playing the same game for ten years
>not equipping immunity gear
You should have the shield and the upgraded version of the talisman by then
I view them pretty much equally, both have the potential to be amazing but yet again Fromsoft runs out of time.
>run in one direction, picking up items and ignoring enemies while healing
>fuck off to the grace when out of healing
>repeat until area explored
>What if I made a swamp... but it's not poison... IT'S TOXIC! I MEAN SCARLET ROT!
>game lets you craft boluses that clears the status effect
>game has an incant that clears the status effect
iq and skill issue
swamps are le bad
swamp design peaked with blighttown
fpbp
bro this isn't a BOTW thread
Is it just me or?
case in point
Such an engaging experience, I wish the whole game was like that.
