Halo as it is died a decade ago really, never went back to it's peak which could've been so easy to keep. Still 343 gets infinite money from daddy MS, so we will likely see the corpse being raped for decades to come.

It turns out everyone being stuck inside meant they could branch out in games to play, which combined with the fact that companies that were shitting these games out lost their momentum caused everyone to realize there was better games and there was no reason to go back to them after they went on break.

Halo Infinte was good, the nailed the gameplay loop and artstyle but the campaign was really fucking weak and the multiplayer is very fucking basic.
The real problem is that they keep content updates back so they can bundle it with a new season.
So litterally every 6 months you're gonna get new stuff to play around.
Season 1 was rough and now they showed the road map and its gonna be the same thing.
