You cannot even start your Xbox when you first buy it because it will ask you in the set-up to connect online, and that will cancel out the set-up. When you insert original Xbox, 360, One and Series X games you need to authenticate them online first before you can play those games. Which they force you to also install them. You don't need to do this with any other console, you can start them fresh offline and remain offline and still play all of your games.

it's financing like a for a car. you get the product and pay it off over a certain amount of months. it's actually cheaper to buy it this way because the total finance price is cheaper than buying this bundle individually but as with all financing if you miss a payment it effects your credit.

there's a lot to be outraged about with the existence of this sort of pay in instalments thing, but it's hardly something unique to videogames and i'm pretty sure OP can't understand these problems at all

retard, back compat on xbox isn't native back compat. the disk is just signed media, you have to download all the back compat games because they need to be recompiled for the newer xbox's due to shitty copyright laws about emulation without native hardware. it's a limitation of the back compat but at least you still have the ability to play the games offline once installed.
