i mean if you spent 1000 hours on destiny and they remove content you should never ever give it a positive review
>Play a game for hundreds of hours
>Developers release a patch that changes the game so you no longer like it
>enjoy game for hundreds of hours
>community changes or patch fucks up game
>BRO YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO SAY IT'S GOOD STILL
fuck off retard
>Play game for 1000 hours
>They shut off the games servers
Gee willickers I'll just give it a positive review why not!
why do people do this?
>why do people do this?
WUZ
I have over 450 hours on Pharah alone and still gave Overwatch a negative review because of the lack of barefoot skins
why do ppl do this?
I played several thousand hours of league and deeply regret it, I'd recommend against it if it was on steam.
>I played several thousand hours of league and deeply regret it
i just started league. peaked silver 1 last season but had only gotten 40 ranked games b4 the season ended. i'm having fun but i'm still in my league career's infancy so every game i'm getting surprised by champs whose abilities i'm not familiar with. stuff like not knowing pyke's hook cd is only half that of blitz'. is league worth playing?
>check positive reviews of a game I want to buy/pirate
>just normal reviews pointing out the good and the bad
>check negative reviews
>full of 1 sentence chink reviews who are obviously seething about the game having no chinese language
Weren't these fuckers going to get their own Steam so they'd stop shitting up ours?
KANGS N SHIT
NO everything gets powercreeped to insane levels

why are "people" like this?
>manage to be even worse than Yea Forums
how
>no it's fine for a 24 year old game to be broken
imagine being this mentally fucked when a emulator probably plays it better
Get out while you can. This applies to almost all multiplayer games though, especially if you're playing alone. After all those hours I can say I wish I'd have played a hundred games with a story instead, at least I'd remember something from those, and I wouldnt have had to deal with the awful community
>60 spf
>Witch again
ESL or 10 year old?
That I can understand. It means that there is a possibility that after 414.4 hours the developers put something in the game that the user does not like. That means they dropped the game and left the review as a sign of their displeasure at the change.
What I don't get are the people who put tons of hours in, leave a negative review, then proceed to play for a ton more hours afterwards.
Sometimes the game turns to shit but most of the case it was just regretful addiction.
People get addicted to things that are ultimately really bad in the long run, like drugs or alcohol.
You wouldn't find it strange if a lifelong meth addict did not recommend doing meth to you?
Some woman was advertising her onlyfans in Town of salem so everyone agreed on hanging her despite her being town
>if you can't speak perfect English all the time you're a NIGGER
How many languages do you speak, mutt?
Im not a mutt i am pure chinese

>people genuine posting on the steam discussion forums
I can't imagine posting on a non-anonymous forum anymore. I just hate having post history tied to something. The ephemeral nature of Yea Forums has spoiled me. I know shit is archived but at least it isn't ever tied back to me in any way.
I just don't care enough about anything to post my opinion of something to be on the internet for all time. Especially video game related.
Me with warcraft, TF2 and Paladins
thanks doc
RUST and Destiny 2 come to mind
This just seems odd to me because every game I've done this with I still recommend to people. I don't think people should play 2k+ hours like I did but if the first 100-200 hours are genuinely fantastic, I would still recommend it.
I'm laughing so hard right now. Only in clown world
The only people who have a problem with poor reviews by people who have hundreds of hours of play time are the same people who reeeeeee that people didn't play a game long enough to rate it accurately
There is no satisfying you. Kill yourself for not recognizing this obvious cognitive dissonance
Just boredom and hope they're wrong about something they almost like
>Sometimes the game turns to shit but most of the case it was just regretful addiction.
This is runescape for me. I definitely have thousands of hours in that and it always sucked
imagine having a daughter and she turns out like this lmao
>300 hours
>issues only just "becoming" apparent
You're already a fucking retard.
Utterly invalid argument, just because YOU'RE fucking burnt out on it after 2000 hours doesn't mean everyone else is going to inherent your misery for their first 100. You're just an egocentric faggot.
because they have integrity.
remember when Trump tried to warn us tiktok was a chink plot
Ok well faggot, that's you. That's your arbitrary rule set
They have the absolute opposite of integrity.
"but doctor, I am Pagliacci"
>Man I loved it!
>Wouldn't recommend though
He is based
Enjoy being a disingenuous faggot your whole life, I guess. Can't exist without being ironic all the time, huh?
Alright.
I trust the guy with 400 hours more than the guy with 4 to tell me that a game is shit.
I am completely genuous.
Literally me, Uninstalled it as soon as the sunsetting happened
Could be a guilty pleasure. I've played near on a thousand hours of swtor and I wouldn't recommend it to the general public.
If you realize a game has turned to dogshit over the past five updates and expansions, that's a genuine opinion
They stuck with a game they liked, until they didn't. That's integrity
Based
>omg I only posted one word and they got triggered, total clown world
Who do you think you're convincing, retard?
>go to steam review section
>sort by 100+ hours
>sort by negative only
You have to filter through some shit like with anything on steam but doing this always gives the most insight to the current state of a game.
I've spent thousands of hours on Yea Forums and I would also give it a thumbs down
People used to complain that you can't give a game a negative review if you didn't play it enough. Now they say you can't give it a negative review because you played it too much.
>hundreds of hours in a game
>developer comes out in support of BLM/LGBT/
>mark as not recommended
Simple as.
>using the r word in 2022
All sorts of reasons. It's perfectly valid to do something for hundreds of hours but not recommend doing the same to someone else even without patches fucking stuff up or other issues raised
"Oh well! We either accept it or drivel over it."
-He says on his 18th paragraph
nigger
nigger a review is about your own experience, what kind of fucking retarded post is this
the people who enjoy it are more than welcome to make their own review, you don't have to avoid stating your opinions just because people disagree you turbocuck
