I played several thousand hours of league and deeply regret it, I'd recommend against it if it was on steam.

i just started league. peaked silver 1 last season but had only gotten 40 ranked games b4 the season ended. i'm having fun but i'm still in my league career's infancy so every game i'm getting surprised by champs whose abilities i'm not familiar with. stuff like not knowing pyke's hook cd is only half that of blitz'. is league worth playing?

Get out while you can. This applies to almost all multiplayer games though, especially if you're playing alone. After all those hours I can say I wish I'd have played a hundred games with a story instead, at least I'd remember something from those, and I wouldnt have had to deal with the awful community

That I can understand. It means that there is a possibility that after 414.4 hours the developers put something in the game that the user does not like. That means they dropped the game and left the review as a sign of their displeasure at the change.
What I don't get are the people who put tons of hours in, leave a negative review, then proceed to play for a ton more hours afterwards.

Sometimes the game turns to shit but most of the case it was just regretful addiction.
People get addicted to things that are ultimately really bad in the long run, like drugs or alcohol.

This just seems odd to me because every game I've done this with I still recommend to people. I don't think people should play 2k+ hours like I did but if the first 100-200 hours are genuinely fantastic, I would still recommend it.
