Not really the game is pretty easy until you hit a certain rank, then you have to follow a route because it'll seem almost impossible otherwise, but the route is pretty easy to realize.
If you're having alot of issues try general invitations you can get some pretty strong cards that way

>memrepo the train
>research medkit first
>you can equip 4 rings
>health and mind haulers are broken
>use execution bullets, fuck clerks
>upgrade your legs first
>it's not a cutscene
>hold shift for focused movement
>use Myongest Yesod

The second invitation in each path (except Tomerry) has pretty decent decks to work with if you can beat them. I found a Gaze office deck to be pretty good if you have trouble beating any of the second receptions to get there. With the exception of Star of the City tier you should be able to beat any fight in a tier with just the cards from the previous tier, but you can always upgrade during if you need to.
For a bit of future knowledge, don't do Nightmare middle right fight 2 without a fully realized floor and nightmare middle left probably has the strongest cards for that tier. For star of the city, bumrushing mid left 2 and full right 2 is the easiest strat for reasons that will be obvious.
