>profits down FORTY THREE PERCENT year over year >lost another 2 million MAU's >42% of their userbase abandoned them entirely in 4 years >For the first time ever blame is squarely put on World of Warcraft using the term "cadence of updates"
They are making less a year than king makes in a week. Now they are so desperate they are trying to run a desktop phone emulator version of diablo immortal to beg people back.
They are getting really desperate now. Not half a decade ago they were 18 scandals back and nearly 40 million players per day.
How does it end for Blizzard? is going full mobile to milk the whales their future?
Dragonflight will be the last expansion without Microsoft, I wonder what Billy has in store, I bet it will be worse than now and even now it is like dead.
Robert Johnson
bobby kotick got his money, ha ha see ya bagholders
Thomas Williams
How does it end? With Overwatch 2. I'm looking forward to giving it a shot, but if it's complete shit and no one likes it I think that'll be the last straw that breaks the camel's back.
Microsoft needs to pull an EA on that trainwreck of a company. Execute all the employees and find someone else to do it. Maybe the games that result are good, maybe they aren't, either way it can't be any worse than the current Blizzard.
what happened to that wowshill saying that wow was doing good and better than before?
Hudson Cooper
>22 Million MAU's >Each game you open on the battle.net launcher is an MAU >19 games on the launcher >Each time you open it per month counts. >Includes WoW, Call of Duty, Overwatch and Hearthstone That could be as low as under 2 million people.
Lucas Allen
You didn't learn from the first one? Nublizz hates games and players both. There is a little hope for D4, but even if it doesn't turn out to be an absolute trainwreck, it's not enough to redeem them in my eyes at least.
Cooper Fisher
don't care, having fun on TBC and will have fun on WotLK without having to deal with some bullshit EU latency that all private servers have. god help your soul if you're playing retail though
Christian Hill
a normie friend of mine, who kept playing WoW since 2006 and begged me to go back to it to play with him on numerous occasions, said he's gonna drop it because the next expansion looks dumb I'm not sure how you can fuckup something so badly you manage to lose even diehard normie fans
David Rogers
>Includes WoW, Call of Duty, Overwatch and Hearthstone And Crash Bandicoot. And like the 1 person who actually has the Retro collection
Connor Carter
I believe this, but I'd like proof.
Sebastian Butler
>lost another 2 million MAU's Hey I'm one of those, I used to play Hearthstone since 2017 but I quit recently over how shit the game has gotten and how obviously incompetent everyone left at Blizzard is
Theres 19 games right now so it could be as low as 1.1 million. But thats everyone opening every game.
But if you just take wow, call of duty, hearthstone, overwatch and diablo 2 thats 4.4 million users and not all those games have crossover. Call of duty and WoW both declined but Diablo 2 sold 5 million units so its possible that of those MAU's WoW could be at as low as 1 million subscribers.
Jeremiah Hernandez
nothing is going to get any better because the only people left at blizzard are the people who clearly hate their fans for expecting good products out of them
Lincoln Sanchez
Can I see the original source? I'd like to see the carnage firsthand.
Oliver Wilson
I'd really like to see Blizzard shut down and no longer around at all.
Brayden Cook
I liked heroes of the storm but they pretty much stopped support for it and they got rid of several maps I liked
D2 wasn't even this quarter, game flopped instantly after launch when everyone realized PoE surpassed it years ago
Carson Cook
It feels like Blizzard might as well not exist anymore, "blizzard game" isn't really worth much. Now that it's not a respected name it's better to just rebrand it.
Jason Sanders
micrsoft got bamboozled this is going to be a financial disaster for them up there with the lucasfilm acquisition
David Parker
Microsoft Insight coming 2024.
Benjamin Lewis
They'd rather go bankrupt than give up on diversity The absolute state of western game devs
Dominic Scott
LOL
Nicholas Sullivan
This is fine for me because I fucked a black woman IRL and now I'm almost addicted to colonizing them.
>20 year old hotbar mmo even its addicts agree is shit Modern trash like fortnite already locked the zoomoids in while FFXIV and ESO got the console fags.
WoW literally has no market to capture anymore. Its redundant and out of date.
Isaiah Thompson
that doesn't fix anything. doesn't attract spending. people aren't starting wow, it is woefully, hilariously outdated. people are starting impact where they can play with beautiful girls and have a fag-free writing experience.
Gavin Clark
>tfw you know see that everquest 1 won dude....
Elijah Gomez
genshin impact*
Isaiah Thomas
posted this image and a lmao at the official blizzard twitter page with a disposable account and blizzard blocked it within 3 minutes
Hudson Sullivan
>gacha tranny kys
Liam Gonzalez
>This N64 looking ass game is now free to play So is every dogshit mmo, whats the difference? this ones got a dogshift wc3 debacle to be connected too?
>How does it end? bobby leaves with a golden parachute microsoft buys what's left of blizzard's rotting corpse and starts a big BLIZZARD IS BACK advertising campaign
Benjamin Watson
We should be more supportive as they're the only company putting women in their place.
Julian Brown
We're over here lilichad
Charles Wright
they'll make WoW sub free with gamepass
Samuel Roberts
Good that it is mentioned here, how can i participate as a questioner in a Q&A Earnings Call, what are the requirements? Have anyone here experience or knowledge about it?
Cooper Robinson
They scrapped all the overwatch 2 stuff. Now it's basically overwatch with a few new maps and skins.
Brandon Powell
Yeah gamepass is known for saving dead games like Bleeding Edge!
Elijah Myers
Talk about being entitled wew
Austin Brooks
Is that a new playable race? That looks fucking retarded.
Logan Garcia
What you don't want to erp in gold/shire for lindenbux?
>you aren't entitled to more content >remember to keep paying your sub though :^)
Nolan Diaz
the Spyro remaster looks like that?
Gabriel Green
>quietly relaxes in Bree with the rest of the grown ups
keep it secret, keep it safe
Logan Morgan
don't chinks hate niggers? who are they catering for now?
Connor Hill
% of their userbase abandoned them entirely in 4 years must be a coincidence as their fanbase declines their tranny mode players leave
Henry Cook
I never said it would user. Just that they would do it.
Wyatt Perry
It saved that Guardians of the Galaxy game. Nobody talked about it before it went on Game Pass and now all you hear is people saying it's an overlooked gem.
I didn't even know it exist so clearly not enough people are talking about it.
Easton Green
If i were microsoft id just dissolve blizzard and loan the IPs out to other companies under their ownership.
Plenty of studios who could make a great diablo game or do something with warcraft
Gabriel Hill
>They are making less a year than king makes in a week. Now they are so desperate they are trying to run a desktop phone emulator version of diablo immortal to beg people back. Okay, but are they actually asking themselves what has changed in the last 5 years at Blizzard that could be directly responsible for this? If they're going to ignore the fact that hiring women, niggers and trannies is the root cause of this fall, then nothing will change.
Gavin Adams
You think that isn't going to happen?
Michael Bailey
It was the entitled consumers, obviously. This is a california company user.
Nicholas Morales
>It was the entitled consumers, obviously. This is a california company user. I wonder how long the investors will continue to buy it.
Hunter Jenkins
as long as King is there forever. Thats the real moneymaker at this point activision and blizzard are going the ubisoft route but a bit slower.
Jordan Campbell
The sigma stare
Gavin Reed
just nuke azeroth and be done with it
Evan Cruz
>>as long as King is there forever. Thats the real moneymaker at this point activision and blizzard are going the ubisoft route but a bit slower. Investors don't ignore bad aspects of their investment simply because good aspects exist. If they could be making more money by simply investing in King with Blizzard itself being dismantled, those thoughts will rise to the surface and with more regularity. There's no value in sinking money into a department that costs more than it makes, you can simply shut it down and make more capital overall.
