It's barely even a "new gen". It's been two years since launch and nothing interesting, relevant, let alone mind blowing has come out for either console.
Remember in 2013 near the PS4/Xboner launch when everyone was jacking off to how realistic the dog from Call of Duty Ghosts was? A barely playable dog from a soulless yearly franchise was responsible for all the hype, today we have nothing that even comes close. Everything's boring. It's just a newer looking device that costs way more than the last, like a fucking phone.
