First run I died at about 18, revived and hung in there until 28 at which point I literally had to keep running and dodging. I don't think I killed an enemy in the last 2 minutes.

its WAY easier to get the pentagram upgrade (moon whatever), and do it on gallo tower and kill the drowner during the crab boss. moon thing has a very clear windup, so you know exactly when it will pop, so you can be absolutely ready.

I only tried twice so far but seeing green death on 10 and blue death on 20 (and obviously red death at 30) makes it seem likely that it's 100%
you unlock them by getting certain characters to level 99. You get more in game from chests dropped by the 11 min and 21 min mini bosses.

Didn't know about the chests. Do I need to have unlocked the character level ones first in order for them to drop? Or is it just random and I haven't happened to get them yet

yes, with hellfire wand you just nuke half the screen whenever it goes off. and now with the ricochet arcana it does even more damage.

you need to unlock the Arcana first, details are in the Unlock menu

no, you do not need to be using him, but you have to have him unlocked.

2 new arcana in this patch give some weapons 3 bounces. One is for wand, fire staff, and cross and all of their upgrades. The other is for kinves, axes, the duel guns, and the mine cart, but only the knife and axe upgrades.

Dude, fully buffed fire wand with the bounce arcana out DPSes La Borra. I beat the new map with fucking KNIVES while using the fire wand and it was absurd.

it does

you can easily have 4 simultaneous carts
only downside is that the projectile speed malus arcana is the ideal for fire wand (which is by far the best DPS in the game now) and it doesn't play nice with the minecart

how'd you get chicken in the bone zone?

the craziest thing is that Cross/Excalibur are both pretty good now

I did leave afk long enough to get almost 50 levels at once

yeah heavens sword gets both the bounce card AND the card that increases crit dmg, i saw it hitting over 1,000

yeah i gave up trying to make webm's after the first week, shit rate is way to bad for a game like this

the holy wand went from always doing piss dmg as an evolved weapon, but chosen anyways since book is so good.
to becoming a bubble powerhouse just by adding that bounce effect, when surrounded it's really shines

and they just blew my free revive at 27 minutes because the time between level ups is long enough now I cant even buy a floor chicken

I have taken damage from no other sources than cats

Holy shit trying to use the dog in the Bone Zone is absolute nightmare. I actually used 3 revives on this run, picked up Tiragisu because I knew I wouldn't be able to survive long enough to evolve something. Even with the Laurel protecting me I was taking damage during the last minutes.

Bounce, Crit and Speed make this a monster of a weapon.
