I preferred metal sonic but if he is built up like Thanos or something in the Sonic cinematic universe I am cool with it. Shadow is overwhelmingly popular among the entire fan base so it was a matter of time before he is added to the movie franchise either in the end credits for sonic 2 or 3.

Obviously shadow is going to have his origin and backstory changed as they should because his origins and backstory in the original games are retarded as fuck but on the other hand they nailed knuckles' character very well so I am more optimistic with shadow.
